it isnt a coincidence that we play much better with more days off… OG played like star each first game he came after an injury… it means fatigue from Thibs is way worse than rust after an injury

"wasn't getting touches"

I don't think OG is fulfilled being the 4th or 5th option on a team

He has been that on every roster he has been a part of his entire career

He says some of the right things, like when he talks about "inserting himself" into the game and being aggressive

when Josh mentioned agendas a while back, I do wonder if he OG was part of that

OG already has a ring with the Raptors, though he didn't play in a single playoff game to win it

He has only averaged over 17 ppg just once in his career

He wants more than just making $40 million a year, playing defense, and 13 shots a game

keep an eye on the OG situation this season and next season

I think he's a candidate to get traded next year, as good as he is defensively and in general

Tell you what. I was not impressed with Doug Christie’s coaching.

Anxiously awaiting his return. Seeing Thibs use the bench early tonight really gave me some hope that the bench will come together and, Mitch will definitely get minutes once he returns.

The deadline is 12 days away. Mitch is on the horizon. The team didn't spiral to far after that win streak went south. We can still improve as a team and make some serious noise in the back end of this season and in the playoffs.

My hope is that they're cardio gets stronger. I dont think teams practice the way they use to. Ofcourse the Thibs minutes
has an effect but I sense there not in optimum shape yet- could be wrong just a feeling...

There are 4 teams in the nba with more wins than us. Those teams have 36-36-32 and 31 wins. I knew our team would have a top record even without Mitch but I didnt think we'd be 2 gaes out of 3rd place and 6 out of first. Mitch will have an effect- the degree I can't call but I wouldn't surprised if it propells us...

Mitch will be good as an early KAT substitution, disrupting the opponent’s PnR game plan. I think we should use the regular season to ramp him up for the playoffs. 15-20 minutes per to get him up to speed.

These are rh little things Hart does. What a great swing pass right in the shoote pocket with some juice on it. Pass beat the close out. Not an easy pass either.

I hope Payne's donut doesn't kill his momentum. I can easily see Thibs erratic substitution pattern messing with his confidence. Already has.

Payne is no different than any other season, he’s 30 now and shooting like he always has. Don’t see what negative impact coach has had on him.

I think Hart was definitely referring to OG.

He already complained about touches in Toronto, and according to some, he asked for a bigger contract because he was unhappy the Knicks acquired Mikal.

I have no doubt Og will eventually be traded for that 3rd true star if this team underachieves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was very obvious for a stretch he was playing spooked out there.

He's a streaky shooter in a bad run, he is going to be up and down all season. And we need a player like that who can randomly take over, hoping he doesn't get traded in our potential center/SF quest.

We got a tough upcoming schedule but there are some more days off coming up as well.

1/29 -> 2/1
2/4 -> 2/8
2/8 -> 2/11
2/12 -> 2/20

We saw what this team can do when they get rest. Magic Mitch should be back soon also. Good vibes!

OG has the 4th highest usage of his career. Not really sure how you get him more touches anyways. He kinda doesn’t deserve them.

I’m sure this has a little to do with our opponents but we really didn’t take off until we got Mikal going as third option.

OG’s playing 36 mins a night and only has 5 drives per game. He’s only shooting 42.7% on those drives with 8.8 assist %. Was surprised to see his turnover % so low cuz it feels like he turns the ball over a lot of his drives. At least way more than 5%. So he’s not really finishing or creating for others.

Let’s look at midrange shooting cuz our offense isn’t designed to create those shots and have to assume that a lot of those are self created.

3-10 feet: 35%
10-16: 33%
16-22: 23

Don’t think those numbers really scream “give him the ball more”
