What’s crazy is the goal post has been moved so much, that when we win, in years past we would be like WHOA WE WIN…
Now when we win, i get mad in HOW we win… how times have changed
What’s gonna happen when we win the chip?

Brunson has won many games for this team and he'll do it again.

There is something special about having a guy who can put a team on his back with some regularity.

As long as you have that guy, you have a path to victory even if the team is not always on target.

I get more excited about cohesive team victories, but we didn't have a star like this for decades until Brunson came along so there's always room for improvement when you have a clutch guy like this.

Green Arrow mentioned it’ll be almost as crazy as Linsanity!

I really hope we didn't play him just to showcase him for a trade. It should be Sims that gets traded.

Huk is the better player.

I’m not saying Sims is good, but there is nothing tonight that Huk did to show you he’s better

How about actually developing the kid and giving him consistent minutes to implement any kind of rhythm. Can't expect to throw him in there at odd times of two minute intervals and expect him to do gods work. That's not how development works that's how setting someone up for failure works. It's a wonder that he managed to grab two rebounds and a block.

I love the young guys getting a chance but what exactly did Hukporti do this game? He looked jittery as hell when I was watching him.

How would you feel having your number called for the first time since 500 B.C.?

Even with jitters he was active and blocked Adams

Doesn't help a player that Thibs finally calls your number early in the game and then mothballs you again. That's really going to help

I understand him being nervous. It just seems like an odd time to "show him some love" imo. It wasn't a good showing for him. He blocked Adams but also picked up 4 quick fouls while being a bit chaotic. It is just 1 game so i'm not going to form an opinion on him just as I didn't after that 1 Brooklyn game earlier in the season.

Maybe an odd time, maybe not. Precious became the starting 4, so there were backup 5 minutes to be had.
I guess they could have gone to Sims.

Maybe Sims is getting moved.

Didn’t they also let go of Porzingis, who is now an important part of Boston’s game?

JB doesn't have conditioning issues, does he?? Just making sure...

Did yall see the ref that did the jump ball between Josh and Steven Adams? Man that ref was HUGE... he was just as big as Adams next to each other, couldn't believe my eyes... lol

They let go of Tyson Chandler after winning a ring. Chandler won a DPOY with us if I recall correctly.

The way the NBA has decided to officiate games is weird.

They call guys getting lightly tapped on the way DOWN, AFTER the shot is released, on jumpers, so they want "continuation", but guys get bodied and pushed in the air on layups after the shot goes up and they decided that should be a no call for "flow"
Like Breen harps on, they are protecting the shooter but don't care about guys taking layups. You can send them flying. Who cares?
No one, until some star winds up getting his career ruined.

I won't get into that Towns and Brunson both take contact as they go up on layups but don't get the calls that often. Brunson gets some, Towns almost none.

So, the NBA wants flow. I get that. Same as hockey, sports decide to what to call so the game isn't constantly interrupted.

But then the NBA LOVES to call away from the ball fouls, like where Towns and someone were pushing each other, out at the 3 point line (so not trying to establish post position) and no ball handler in sight. Why? It changed the game sending KAT to the bench, it interrupted flow and it was meaningless to anything going on, no one got an advantage.

And speaking of "flow", this is a league that thinks as many as 4 challenges a game with its timeouts are a good thing.
Ok, that's because the calls might really affect the score and there's all that gambling action at stake.

NBA is a f*cking joke.

KAT got a thumb injury and has gone from Jokic lite to the 2nd coming of Bill Cartwright on the Bulls.
