NGL, Kat and Giannis would be fun as hell. You have me intrigued on joining the trade Brunson campaign. Bucks are doomed and going to have to move him. And we have the 2nd coming of mark price ready to step up. Might be the perfect time to sell high. Plus he is damaged goods with a ruined ankle. The stars are aligning for the Knicks.

All we have to do is ignore the fact that they would trade giannis for a rebuild package and we have no picks(thanks mikal) or young star(thanks grimes) it makes perfect sense. I get to dream about how awesome a kat/giannis FC would look in orange and blue.

We lost the 2 finals in the 90s missed out on bron and zion and had a slew of terrible things happen to us. I have no sympathy for other basketball fans. We've been in the mud so long that I enjoy witnessing others have a lil taste of it. Especially ones that recently did us dirty.

Like Brunson/Towns PnR should be unstoppable. Kolek making grade school passes to a cutting Towns should have been happening for awhile now.

Once he learns how to score at this level, the kid will be a real player.

Feels like we've made life harder than necessary for kat. Giving him the ball on clear outs or posting him up at the 3pointline is just wasting his talent.

But that's the knicks offensive. It always feels like it's so difficult for us to get easy buckets unless the game turns chaotic. Which is why last years team functioned better with a more defensive minded roster with 2 bigs and jHart that lived on the offensive glass. With this roster we need a more offensive minded coach who can tap into this rosters true potential.

Leon has to see his accumulation of talent isn't being utilized correctly and move accordingly this offseason.

I'm a fan of maxey and a pg13 and embiid hater and some of the worst posters(hi meLo) here said their big 3 was better than ours so seeing this downfall has made this season extra nice. Hope they continue to lose and maxey forces his way out.

Yeah, brunsons usage is kinda insane and there is a reason he is sidelined right now and mikal isn't consistent. Our offense is basically thibs rolling the ball out and saying get some.

We already have a top 5 offense, that was 2nd before Brunson got hurt. There's stuff they've worked on that they just haven't needed to use much in games yet.

Kolek was showing out in summer league. His passing ability is top-tier. His shooting is NBA level. His size and athleticism is a constant concern but he is made to run a second unit.

Thibs is seeing the same thing in Cam Payne that he saw in DRose, Elf Payton, Alec Burks, Julius Randle, and Brunson — namely, the ability to put your head down and get to the rim.

Thibs offense: iso dribble drive to the rim
Thibs defense: drop-coverage max rim protection

Kolek doesn’t fit Thibs’ 1988 Atari model of basketball. Incidentally, neither does KAT which is why Thibs will ultimately get canned from this job IMO.

That did happen. But I can’t say for sure if it was by design or not. He didn’t play much or at all and Quickley got all the backup mins. Quickley raised his value really high and we cashed in on that. Almost as soon as we traded Quickley we extended Deuce to another bargain deal and then he began getting big 6th man rotation minutes at a discount. So it was great management by the team

But this doesn’t really apply to Kolek because he’s already locked up until 2028 so there’s no need. More than likely like I said they planned would use this year to get his toes wet have good mentors on the team not throw him to the wolves while Payne handles the backup duties and then if he shows promise he might get his big break next year and that’s what we are seeing
