Thibs is just a dummy and I expect hart to start unless he has no other option but to try something else (elimination game)

Thibs benched Payton from game 3 of the Hawks series when it was tied 1-1. Then Knicks lost the next 3 games in blowouts.

Not suggesting that happened because of Payton's benching, but clearly the move we were passionately clamoring for didn't work.

Watching Spo and the Heat get annihilated for the 2nd straight time makes me wonder if there is a small part of Spo that might want out. That Heat team ain't going anywhere anytime soon unless some big trades happen and the way Riley treated Butler this season, many big names may look the other way. Anyway... something to keep an eye on.

He also played 13 total minutes in those 2 games. I'm not sure he was much of a factor either way. All I remember about Payton in that series was Collins was guarding him when I was hoping Randle would have an advantage over Collins physically.

Well not that it matters but it’s overlooked that Nerlens tweaked his ankle in game 2 and we started starting taj gibson from game 3 as well so we actually switched out two of the established starters after that and it didn’t go well to say the least. Game 1 was a close loss that came down the final possession too. And then of course Mitch was out.

Anyway they beat the #1 seed 76ers and went to the conference finals giving the eventual champion bucks a run for their money until Trae got hurt. Now they can’t even make the playoffs. Wtf happened to that team

Dude was brought up from the film room. And they even waited to sign his contract AFTER his divorce was settled to save him money. I doubt he ever leaves them.

I'm not sure. They seemed like they were on the come up but it was a weird COVID season. Looking back at those teams in the East a lot of them fell off the next year. The Bucks haven't sniffed a championship since then. The Big 3 in Brooklyn blew up. The Sixers and Ben Simmons had a falling out after the loss to the Hawks. The Knicks season fell apart. That young Hawks team never took the next step.

Watching the Cavs game and man Johnnie never sits. He's always in the ear of Atkinson running up and down the sidelines with him. We really lost an asset.

The last 3 minutes of this Cavs game has been Atkinson giving Donovan Mitchell the ball to go 1v1 every play or Herro on the other side. Where are all these elaborate plays every coach but Thibs is running.

Can’t step in the same river twice

Play Precious when we fall behind … Mitch is adding little and that’s generous

Also the rumor that one of his younger players is rolling around his old bed with his ex-wife

It helps when they got two really great ball handlers. We used to have another guy that could help create shots. Forgot his name though...

We lack great ball handlers yet somehow from the beginning of last 4th quarter we had everyone from Brunson to Deuce to OG to Mikal going 1v1 in our "offense" :D

Jaquez, who's been benched for the play ins and playoffs so far.

She denied it though

This one's gonna be tight the whole way. Just gotta win one in Detroit and we've been a good road team all season.
