playoff game sounds more important
unless you are a bench warmer, but even then it sounds more important

Star of the team my man, lol. I average like 18 and my little brother averages like 22, lil bastard. I have to play PG so i feed him all game then he talks **** about how he is the second leading scorer in the league. lol
It pobably was a good idea to skip it and go play, im going to the draft anyway.

Correct. It's either top 3, stay at 8, or move down to 9, 10, or 11. The odds are greater that we move down, in fact, than move up. The 'lottery' is for the top 3 spots. After that, it goes 'order of finish'.

Re: I had a dream.....we win the lottery tonight
I had a dream that we were going to win game 6 of the knicks vs rockets final with a 3 pointer. Then we get last possession and time out. I ran to my brother's room (noone was allowed to watch knicks basketball with me at that time but thats another story) jumping up and down and told him that my dream was about to come true. Til this day I blame myself that we didnt win that title. : /

Mega-merge. Sorry guys, we just need to keep everything tidy. We don't want a million and one threads on the same topic. Thanks.
Look.

Look.
We likely end up with the #8 pick.
However, if one or two teams bounce into the Top Three, we could bounce back to #10.
Or hell, we end up with a Top Three Pick.
Very few of the players, even Griffin and Rubio, are without a downside...although...
...haha, Griffin's is FT shooting, and we have seen in the case of a David Lee and a Karl Malone where a dedicated PF with a work ethic can significantly improve in this area.
...and Rubio is not the most consistent outside shooter, but there were games where he produced big time...
And of course, Thabeet is often defined not in his defensive and lane filling presence, but in his rawness and the perception that he lacks a stomach for contact.
LOOK...
None of the first round prospects are perfect or can't miss.
That being said, there are some intriguing talents and we are going to end up with one of them.
My choice is Stephen Curry, but one could easily see Minnesota, Memphis or Golden State snarfing him up. And oc course, there are questions about Curry's slender frame and lack of height. Does a shorter Reggie Miller work for us?
LOOK.
If we don't make it to Griffin or Rubio (or Thabeet)...
And if Curry gets snarfed up...
I won't cry if we have to settle for Tyreke Evans or Ty Lawson or DeMar DeRozan or Brandon Jennings or James Harden...
In fact, as much as I am pulling for Curry (first choice is Rubio), Ty Lawson intrigues me. He plays D, is a T-E-A-M player, a LEADER and a WINNER. Who has brought his A-Game against top competition. A floor general.
And of course, while Curry is a more a combo than a pure point, his overall game and his abillity to flat out shoot, would look good in a Knick uniform.
No, I don't think I will be too disappointed in whomever we end up with.
HOWEVER...
I will be baffled if we don't garner some more draft picks in the first and second round.

Legs and Elmore say Maynor is the best PG prospect in this draft. They like him more than anyone else at the PG position.
BAF Suns
Chris Paul / Patrick Beverley / Shamorie Ponds
Buddy Hield / Timothy Luwawu / Stanley Johnson
Kendrick Nunn / Matisse Thybulle / Darius Miller
RJ Barrett / Kyle Kuzma / Dwayne Bacon
DeAndre Jordan / Kenrich Williams / DJ Wilson

In terms of 'prospects', I'd say Rubio, Jennings, and Flynn would be rated higher. In terms of best PG right now, I'd say it's Lawson. Curry? It depends which team drafts him...
