Slightly OT perhaps but do you guys see Melo's Twitter page? He's on some 21 day fast - I think he's going to eat nutritional shakes.

The only hope, if anybody still wants Melo anymore (I'm neutral) is that his agents really haven't gotten a straight answer from Melo but are proceeding as if he'll go and hoping they can convince him.

But, personally, I think his agents must have gotten some indication that contradicts what a guy like Sheridan has heard. The sellout, I would be willing to bet, is upon us.

Again, it'll be funny when the new CBA is hammered out and everybody can see that Melo could have been at MSG for the same money (more or less) he will get in NJ. That'll be a bad day in the life of Leon Rose and Melo ... WWW is probably too stupid to know the difference.

If the deal Harris, and then Billups is brought out:

Farmar
Rip
Melo
Humphries
Lopez

With Outlaw, Vujacic, Morrow, Ross, Graham and James off the bench with no draft picks for about 3 years. I can see Melo playing ALOT of PF on that team.

leon rose also represents rip by the way so that may be why he's wanted in this deal. rose brought up rip's name to jersey.

Still don't believe at all that Melo is going to sign with a terrible Nets team because Rip Hamilton is going. Hamilton would be the 6th best player on the Knicks. Come on.

This Al Iazonne guy is an unbelievable fool. He says the Nets will have the inside track on getting Chris Paul and said that they can trade for Paul if Paul forces his way out of New Orleans. Who exactly would the Nets use to trade for Paul?!? lol

Paul don't scare me either by the way. He is on the decline. Ray will bust his ass too.

as much as we hate on him for not doing it on his own, lebron made a smart decision when it comes to winning.

Or...

His agents are going to let this one get to the brink. Have multiple teams get involved ... again ... and then blow it up.

At that point Nets will go away for good. The rest of the league will go away. And then Denver will have a choice - live under the same roof while the divorce is settled, or just get a quicky annulment.
