It seems like the media has gotten their talking points re: Felton being better and tougher and having more heart than Lin. I say he's a goner.

A few days ago I commented that the board was overrating Felton and what he was and placing too much importance on his Knicks tenure. Now I think he is being severely underrated by many. The guy has been a solid NBAer for a while and doesn't deserve to be cast as the fat bum many are suggesting.

He comes to camp admittedly out of shape and he's 28.. you know what that means? His body isn't going to be able to hold up year after year.. eventually the taxing his body takes from having to push it every year just to get in shape is going to catch up with him.

I would have to agree. Also, and i hate saying this, but I hope this entire thing blows up in the Knicks face.

I don't care about the Felton part I think at most he is an average PG. But Lin = Nash is well .......

Who knew Nash would become an MVP in his second year? Are you telling me Lin was not as good last year as Nash was in his second year in the league?

Bum = He pretty much gave up on his team and coach last year

That there is no proof that he can even make it through a whole season without an injury or how his stats will hold up through a whole season. It is great that he was awesome for 1/3 of the season but he only played 1/3 of the season.

If you look at 1/3rds of the season then Melo had a beast of year and won player of the month.

The fact is I think Lin is light years ahead of Felton or Kidd (at his age). And I think the Knicks should match because it is stupid to throw away assests for nothing especially when you are trying to win a title. But there are still a ton of questions marks on him as a player.

Can he last a whole season?
Can he maintain his play the whole season?
