FVV is worth it IMO. He's a good leader, good locker room guy and his teammates love him. He's a professional in every word. Well respected through out the league, and known as a hard worker

He knows how to play the game, and is the type of guard Thibs loves.

Getting FVV in FA and walking away with one of Deni/Vassell/Haliburton/Williams/Achiuwa at #8 would be a win for NY IMO.

agreed. he's the only expensive FA this offseason i'd want to give multiple years to.

I dont think we get FVV unless they are willing to outbid Toronto (they have the $ to re-sign him) significantly

I'm also reticent to go after FVV for big $ (20M+ per yr over 4yrs) because here he'd be forced to be the #1 option. w/ the Raptors he plays w/ other great players.

he's a 41% shooter now, and I cant imagine that improves being the #1 option and commanding more defensive attention

that's my concern. playing around them, he was still just a 41% shooter. but here he'd command more defensive attention as the primary option
