But let's be serious here. Even if he's stabbing in the dark, it's a really good stab. lol

At least it's based on logic!

In other news, since Charlotte jumped into LaMelo range does that mean Graham/Rozier is available?

Is Randle for Rozier straight up a possibility?

FVV is worth it IMO. He's a good leader, good locker room guy and his teammates love him. He's a professional in every word. Well respected through out the league, and known as a hard worker

He knows how to play the game, and is the type of guard Thibs loves.

fred is the kind of player you commit to if you want to win. knicks have done well enough with cap management to sign him, become decent/functional/attractive, and spend again on an elite max FA.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

Getting FVV in FA and walking away with one of Deni/Vassell/Haliburton/Williams/Achiuwa at #8 would be a win for NY IMO.

Don’t forget maxey.

Landing FVV changes a lot of fortunes for this franchise for the next 3 years

FVV // maxey-vassell-Kira // RJ // Mitch core is solid.
BAF Suns

Chris Paul / Patrick Beverley / Shamorie Ponds
Buddy Hield / Timothy Luwawu / Stanley Johnson
Kendrick Nunn / Matisse Thybulle / Darius Miller
RJ Barrett / Kyle Kuzma / Dwayne Bacon
DeAndre Jordan / Kenrich Williams / DJ Wilson

If Maxey improves his handles he could turn out really good. But it all depends on those handles.

I'm curious about the price point of Beasley, what can you expect? This guy scored 20+ for the wolves in 14 games.

you pay FVV and beasley now, and that's all your team's gonna have unless you're able to add talent via trades. i can't cap out on those guys.

agreed. he's the only expensive FA this offseason i'd want to give multiple years to.

I dont think we get FVV unless they are willing to outbid Toronto (they have the $ to re-sign him) significantly

I'm also reticent to go after FVV for big $ (20M+ per yr over 4yrs) because here he'd be forced to be the #1 option. w/ the Raptors he plays w/ other great players.

he's a 41% shooter now, and I cant imagine that improves being the #1 option and commanding more defensive attention

I'm curious whether getting the #1 pick (likely Edwards) makes it less likely the Wolves match an offer on Beasley

This is why I think he can be had at a reasonable price.

Don't want FVV. We would be signing him to be our main guy which I don't think he could be. He played alongside Siakam/Lowry/Kawhi. I think giving him big money to be our main guy would be a mistake.

that's my concern. playing around them, he was still just a 41% shooter. but here he'd command more defensive attention as the primary option

Is there anybody on the Raptors you guys would trade Mitchell Robinson for?
O.G Anunoby? Terrance Davis and a future 1st?

Return to New York Knicks
