PG took a backseat to Westbrook when he nearly won the mvp????

Nearly won the MVP? He was never winning MVP with the season Giannis had. He wasn't even more deserving of MVP than his own teammate who averaged another triple double for the season. OKC was Westbrooks team, PG hasn't had a team since the Pacers

that team was westbrooks in spirit because he is an OKC guy. But there was no doubt who was clearly the better player on those OKC teams when PG was there. He was, not westbrook.

Just like Wade was miami team, doesn't mean LeBron wasn't the best player when they played together.

I just want to know where that defense was when Joe Ingles was giving him buckets and talking trash to his face and took him out the series

he had a horrible game 6 against the Jazz, no one is denying that. Harden's had is fair share of flubs in the post season.

In spirit? Stop it man, you comparing PG going to OKC to Lebron going to Miami? Stop!

OKC got nowhere with PG, they got bounced by a lower seed. PG got bounced by the Jazz. Jazz meet Harden in the 2nd round and its not even a contest. Harden has been bouncing the Jazz out for years now. Stop it

They were getting bounced early because Westbrook (the supposid) best player on the team shot 39% and 36% from the field, THE field...in those two playoffs. Can't win with a guy building houses of bricks like that.

As far as the argument there wont be any changing your mind. If the clippers win a championship you will just say that PG13 won it playing a second fiddle role to Kawhi. When PG is a 1B player to Kawhi. If he doesn't win it then you will just say he's not good enough. So its a lose/lose

I don't even like Westbrook but Paul George shot 40% from the field in that Utah series and his game 6?

2-16 from the field
5 points
6 turnovers

In a crucial game 6 elimination game. WB dropped 45 in game 5 then dropped 46 in game 6, dude was not going out like that. PG, obviously, was.

WB was complete trash in the playoffs last year and Dame owned him but PG didn't do much either, he shot poorly himself and wasn't much of a factor for them to extend the series longer than 5 games. You can call him a 2 way player and rave about his impact on defense and whatever but he's really not that impactful as you make him seem. Not anywhere close to even being above Harden in terms of impact. You can prefer him, which is fine, but don't make his impact seem bigger than it really is.

PG has a 58.3% TS in last year playoffs
Wesbrook had a 46.6% TS in last year playoffs.

If we are being honest though someone didn't hold up there end of the bargain in that series and it wasn't PG13.

I prefer PG13...that doesn't mean I don't think Harden is a genius offensive player because he is...even though I can't stand watching him doop the officials to callling fouls. Which is why I think his style kinda fails in the playoffs because they don't call the game as tight and he doesn't get those calls like he does in the regular season.

Doesn't mean I think Harden still isn't one of the better players in the NBA...because he is. I just prefer PG and think overall he is someone I would rather have because of his all around play.

Lebron vs Kawhi is real intense. These dudes battle. The west just has so many more interesting teams that i like watching.

Fr man. He looks hella nervous out there. He better step up or else we traded Moe for nothing

If anything, I blame Morris. The offense is stagnant with him on the floor and he's a minus defensively. He looks way too tentative out there and he gets T'd up all too often. I wish his pride could handle being off the bench. At this point, I'd like JMike to start or even 2Pat.

I miss harkless. The morris trade was such a horrible horrible mistake. We win that game if doc has an IQ above 80 and decides to stop playing Landry and Morris because they both lost us that game.

That **** on Morris and Shamet (and Doc by extension I guess). Offense they're just playing me-ball, on defense Shamet somehow loses Waiters and Mook won't even bother to body Lebron at the end. **** off with that lazy ****
We're good though, just frustrating that we had the pieces to win but two guys basically made the (negative) difference

Kawhi has picked up bad habits since leaving SA, he’s become an inefficient iso player. He wasted that last possession because he has tunnel vision. PG is the closer, not Kawhi.

Did you just realized we got eliminated and not invited to Disney?

Kidding...

Deleted 8 scrimmages is still up in the air. I dont know if makes senses financially to have all safety structure of a bubble to the delete 8 scrimmage. And players union may not aprove an unsafe environment.
