Trading for LeBron Hurt the Knicks. Besides, the lack of center on the roster and the increase of injury concern, we would lose the salary slot when LeBron retires.
 
Disagree. The Knicks best line up at the moment is with Mitch at center and Kat at the 4. LeBron at the 4 is as good offensively and miles better defensively. I mean,  for sure, defensively, not every regular season play, but certainly when the going gets tough. Also, LeBron isn't retiring any time soon relative to the left of Kat's contract. That's a wash imo.
In any case, the Knicks have a two year window to win now.
