Guess he doesn't hate Chris Paul THAT much after all?
Honestly, it didn't make sense for him to leave if Dallas was the team to go to. Dallas doesn't have the horses to compete for a title. They can guarantee 50 or so wins every year but they don't have enough to win anything. Even if this was about getting more shots and more involvement in the offense, I didn't understand how Dallas was the best option. They have no real PG and their system under Carlisle isn't one that features one player nor that emphasizes one on one play. Did Cuban tell Jordan that "yeah, sure, we'll throw you the ball down low and let you work for 20 to 25 shots a game"? If so, he probably should have gotten Carlisle to buy into it cause it's completely opposite to his style. He'd have been better off seeing if he can get himself to Portland (after Aldridge leaves) or Phoenix or Milwaukee (see Monroe). They'd be more prone to let him free style offensively.

Just as long as this doesn't effect us signing RoLo, I could careless. I actually hope that he goes back to LA. Makes me hate that team even more than I already do. Adding Paul Pierce didn't help any either.

On the other hand, maybe there is still time for Derrick Williams to break his verbal and sign somewhere else!

It ain't about going to a team for a title to Jordan apparently. It's him not being loved as a Clipper by Paul. Sometimes u wanna go to a place that will appreciate u.

Then he should have gone to another team. Portland, LA, NY. He'd have been appreciated in any of those places by that teams lone star.

I guess u have to factor in hometown team with Dallas with his decision.
Like any other job, if he's unhappy with his current employer, and he has a chance to leave for a new place and go back home, a lot of people will accept that opportunity.

He's 100% going back if this is true.
I'm kinda glad, I don't like the Lakers, and they have been way too cocky making fun of the Clippers when they lost Jordan.
