Actually it all started to go downhill from the start

Run DMC and NWA were the roots of its downfall, from the very start.

So this whole thing is an oxymoron because your saying shyt How does that make sense? I have nothing but love in my heart so what hate do I have? It's not hate. It's being annoyed. There is no anger released. You post 10 vids like you really think I'm gonna sit stop what I'm doing and watch all that shyt. I don't listen to hip hop because of message first. I let them win me over with the beat which is how this whole thing started. Hip Hop never started with nigguhs giving they thoughts. This was abt partying and having a good time so when you say this is real hip hop you look like a dumass because all hip hop is real hip hop. If hip hop abt poppin pussy and bottles and having the freshest clothes and cars keep ppl then so be it. It has different divisions. You still haven't told me what the lie to me was and what this truth is. You already proved your a stush know it all. Tellin ppl go read the Quran and they cant handle a topic. Seriously who do you think you are? I didn't put atribecalledrich as my net name 5 years ago because they were cool and different. I sat and listened to all there songs and how they talk relatable shyt that's why I always tell my ppl how good they are. THEY talked about the community. All the Native Tongues spit that real shyt and HAD LYRICS. They weren't bumy ass rappers like that dude you posted whose name I can't even remember. Chuck D didn't sell just because he was speaking reality, he sold because he had a lyrical uniqeuness and flow that we all ate up. I don't run away from nothing. I just don't waste my time with shyt I already here a million times.

Everything I tried to explain, flew right over your head.

You dont even know that Hip Hop was a fabrication used to cause self destruction to the black community. Just like Rock n Roll was used to cause self destruction to the white community.

The entire Hip Hop culture has a history, and its the root of it that Im going into. The purpose behind the beat, the lyrics, the clothes, the dancing, all that has a history and thats what you still havent learned where it all came from.

  Wow. Hip Hop came from Jamaican DJ's saying a little rhyme or two over the bridge of a song because the bridge was always pretty long. The black community was shytty before hip hop arrived. There were still junkies, pimps and poor people around. I really am interested in where you get this information from. Everything is flying over my head because it's foolishness. Your just showing me what you know. Can't believe you really think that they took R&B and Country and mixed it with intentions to "destroy" the white community. How has that worked so far? So rock and rap are very successful to date. Is the white and black community destroyed? Then you gonna say I'm brainwashed right? Oh man this is too much man too much. I can't do this anymore. Back to hip hop

The black community was **** because that was all created by design. Junkies, pimps, criminals, those are who made the rich even richer, all by design. While Hip Hop was started off as feel good music, it didnt take long before it got infiltrated and turned into "Gangsta rap", all by design.

And Stop actin like a tribe called quest was what everybody liked to listen to. I know so many people that couldnt stand them, so stop acting like ATCQ was something everybody was feelin, they werent. I like them, they had the right vibe in music, but not everybody preferred to listen to them, so you can keep promoting them all you want, but fact is they werent the only Hip Hop group out there and they werent the ones Im talking about.

NIgguh WTF are you talking abt? When did I say people liked them? I liekd them and that's all I care about. I can care less whch one of your "homies" liked them. ATCQ coludnt care less either. They went Gold and Plat on all their albums so they got their message through so keep your mouth shut on that subject. Yo I'm seriously not wasting no more keystrokes on you. I keep missing this show.

''J. Cole is the future of this hip hop shyt.'' Don't hate. As someone whom has listened to The Blow Up, The Come Up, Warm Up, and FNL, I know what Jermaine brings. The guy is the the only music I have listened to in like 6 months, besides a little Wale/Budden.

Lyrically, he is a genius, and he kills word-play. Actually raps about his life, and is a great story teller. The knock on him is probably the amount of syllables he uses in his rhymes, but his wordplay/lyrics over-ride that, and I love how he can do his own choruses. Everything he says has a meaning behind it, and he doesn't rap just to rhyme words like Drake and co.

BTW - I got into Cole like 2 years ago?

My J. Cole favorites are:

FNL:
Too Deep For the Intro
Autograph
2Face
Farewell
Premeditated Murder
In The Morning
Villematic

The Warm Up:
Dreams
Can I Live
Doller and a Dream 2
Ladies
Badness
Heartache
Lights Please

The Come Up:
Simba
Dead Pres 1
Get It
College Boy
Homecoming

My top 5 (no order): Simba, Autograph, Dreams, Heartache, 2Face.

I actually love Cost Me Alot, he flows great to it. I love how he was being honest, and telling a cool story the entire time, but the flow is great. That song probably brang out his flow more than any other. I like how he says he's beginning to become famous and things are changing, not necessarily better, as his love is coming from material things, and how he can't just women now.

The Warm Up and FNL are my bread and butter. And, Premeditated Murder is great. It's like he's calling himself out to take over. His emotion is what puts him over the top, and it's how I began loving him, to becoming one of his biggest fans.

You'll know where it's going early on but the hip hop doesn't jump in until late into the video but check out the brain activity during a freestyle at the end...I think it's pretty interesting, and it's kinda great to see science incorporating hip hop in a brain experiment.
