I agree.

Seriously, he's done absolutely nothing. He's going to be on ESPN for an hour with all the proceeds going to charity. That is the ONLY thing people can call him a diva over, and it's pretty ridiculous. If he really was a diva, he'd be talking to the media, and he WOULDN'T have a set date for his announcement. He would put off his decision and keep people guessing, keep the media focused on him as long as he could. The guy has been nothing but a professional, it's been the fans and the media that have been giving him this attention.

To an extent, I agree. I thought LeBron would've milked this more. Bosh has been way more of a dvia then LeBron.

Still can't decide which is the best nickname for the unmentionable one if he turns the Knicks down.... LeDiva....LeMeva....LeBish....LeRobin...Queen James... heck... they're all good. I'll rotate through them.

Eh...I disagree with this. The whole thing has been a spectacle. He hasn't uttered one word during this process, he's acting a little too arrogant in this situation. I mean come on, a 1 hr special for a free agent announcement? Look what Kevin Durant did, that's class.

Remember the Past wrote:I'm at a point right now where I really don't give a **** what happens. Will I be ecstatic if he comes? Sure. But he's proven that he's an ego maniac this offseason and I'm just sick of all the teasers he's been throwing our way for two years to give himself attention. I would love nothing more than to win without him and to build a team that makes his life miserable wherever he goes. I trust Walsh and Mike and I think they'll give us a solid team with a bright future. Now after tonight, if this guy doesn't come, let's just stop talking about. Screw him, all he wants is our attention. And he'll hate his life everytime he walks into msg until he retires, that's for sure.

I knew you'd be back. :P

This whole thing has been made more difficult to enjoy by the fact that it is definitely Amateur Hour, and yes, I'd say that whether he's coming or not.

If this was just a ruse to deflect attention from the Knicks, it's still dumb and I think it bodes badly for his character and ability to just do his job in a workmanlike way in NYC. I honestly believe that.

And if he comes tonight, I will stand by it. The drama -- and apparent indecisiveness -- make me think that LeBron does not quite have the all-business approach of a guy like Jeter that allows him to thrive in a pressure situation.

He may be more A-Rod than Jeter.

And even if he comes, it will honestly be a big concern.

...at exactly 9:10pm est, a lot of new yorkers will be celebrating the arrival of the King... he has to pick NYC... we need him... he needs us... if he picks Miami, he should be stripped of "the King" moniker and change it to "the Princess" to fit his LeDivaness... furthermore, change his Lion's Head logo to a pussycat, cuz a move to Miami would show that he doesn't have a heart of a Lion... so in conclusion, it's the Knicks!...

this assumes that he and his crew are behind the smokescreens (assuming he comes to the Knicks)...consider the world we live in for a minute before making that assumption...

I agree. I also feel as though this escalating arrogance and sense of entitlement has him on the precipice of his first scandal and I for one do not want the Knicks to be a part of that. We've had enough low character douchebags to last a lifetime lately.

Exactly, he hasn't uttered 1 word. You can't get more professional than that. If he was touring the country, doing interviews and such, you're saying that would somehow be LESS arrogant? :eek1:

As for Kevin Durant, there was never any doubt with him resigning, while LeBron was actually exploring his options, and still in fact may not know what he wants to do.

why does Riley have a deadline for the Miller deal if Lebron is going to Miami?
