Thats what I'm talkin bout.

I have to say though Kentucky really shot themselves to a loss with three after three after three after three even when they werent falling. Fools gold was when they started falling after coming out at half time and getting the lead. After that they were inspired to keep chucking threes that kept them out of the game or shall i say Uconn in the game. Doron Lamb was on fire, i felt like they shoulda fed the hot hand alot more than they did. If they make one more three they are in the game and maybe it goes to OT. They missed a ton of free throws too...

I feel like John Calipari shoulda changed their offensive strategy some. They can get inside and in the lane. Alex and Charles Okwandu arent the greatest bigs ever. Work it in and get them into foul trouble, but instead Kentucky put no presure on them because they kept shooting threes. reminds me alot of watching the Knicks.

What is with the MJ comparisons?

If anything, Kemba Walker reminds me a lot of Nick Van Exel.

If it was any other team playing against Butler, I would root for Butler all the way...But its not any other team, its Kemba and the Huskies they're going against...Go Huskies!!!

These two teams have made it by the skin of their teeth. Now only one of them gets to be lucky one last time. If Uconn can limit Mack and keep Howard and Smith off the boards they'll be fine. Uconn though has to do a better job overall rebounding, that was atrocious against Kentucky...

yeah. early mike. his dynamism on both ends of the floor, and his suddenness. of course, if you could contain yourself for a moment and get passed the lore of the legend, you'd know what i mean. i wouldn't expect some of you to get that though.

I don't know what's better: You thinking that Kemba reminds you of MJ, or you attacking the people who realize that what you said surpasses idiocy.

what's between him and me is between him and me. we've gotten into it before, so i replied like i did. i explained why he reminds of mike. i never said kemba could walk on water or turn water into gatorade. i could careless if you get it or not. that fact that you think your opinion would mean anything to me is cute though.

did you guys know sports illustrated and dc comics came out with an answer to the espn/marvel/nba issue that came out last year? they did it for college basketball. it may be old news for some since it's from way back in november but I just saw it recently. here's the spread they had for jimmer (it gets cut off but you can see the whole thing by clicking on it):

I honestly feel that the UConn bigs were in the head of the Kentucky players, there were some awesome blocks. The one on Vargas was amazing, total game changer to me, the Kemba one on the fast break was awesome as well. Between Napier's bad shots and turnovers and Kentucky's overall bad play this game was up for grab for whoever wanted it.

I don't really care of my opinion means anything to you. You've proven that you can't evaluate basketball talent. That's all I've gotten out of this little exchange.

Brandon Knight is similar to Jrue Holiday and Walker is similar to Rose. Thoughts?

i can't evaluate talent? so this is a draft combine now? and please tell me where the hell i said he'd be the next mike. please show me.

this is how narrow minded guys like you and that other guy are, then you've got the balls to call someone's comment idiocy. you can't get over the initial "blasphemy" before you get all hopped up on that lemming juice. the **** outta here.

You said he plays like a midget mike. That's just false. You should just own up to your comment, admit it was dumb and move on, instead of attacking every poster who acknowledges the fact that it was dumb.

Holiday was a stout perimeter defender, ran the offense with more sets IMO. I don't know where it started, but Jrue seems to be the comparison everyone is throwing around. I actually compare him to Chauncey Billups with the way they run the offense. Obviously Knights game needs to come along a lot but they do play similar IMO.

Walker reminds me of a new age Tim Hardaway. It sucks that NBA draft has him as a comparison but he does remind me a lot of him. The biggest question with Kemba for me is what player will he be in the NBA? The Kemba of the first two years? The Kemba of this year? Or the finely tuned player of both years?

I like the Tim Hardaway comparison a lot for Kemba.

Kemba

Post#1438 » by Cut1er » Mon Apr 4, 2011 1:35 am

Any shot Kemba Walker takes a guarantee from the Knicks and refuses to go to other teams/ work out for other teams? I know this type of stuff has happened before with late round prospects but it is a little uncommon among lottery picks. Kemba has said multiple times that he wants to be a Knick and he is a huge Melo fan. Melo's recent comment suggest that he is supporting Kemba.

Letting Kemba learn for a year under Billups would be a dream scenario and then we could chase a 3rd Max cat such as Howard or fill out the roster with the remaining space.

If we can take advantage of Hometown players wanting to play in the garden (Walker, Melo) and players that want the spotlight/endorsements of NY (Stoudimire, Gallo, Mosgov), we could really figure out a way to be a dominant team with a serious competitive advantage for the next couple of years.

Can't see him getting past 12. He's too good. Knicks would need to move up to grab him, but we really have no assets to give.

Return to New York Knicks
