i just watched NBA TV nd they were showing a interview with melo he was sayin how Billups went to denver to end his career there, and get into the front office when its done which billups has talked about and he didn't like the idea of him being shipped to NJ against his will.

Melo, if you don't like it you can stop it, just don't sign the extension and you help your boy out.

The good news in that, is that denver would be willing to deal with the knicks. Something that up until this point looked like was not going to happen.

Heres a question for people.. If we dont trade for Melo.. would you be willing to sign him as a FA if he wanted to come here.. But we would lose Chandler and our MLE in return?

I just think Replacing Chandler with Melo.. And also losing our MLE where we could sign another Center only helps us so much more then people see.

Just saw the video of Melo when he said ' they don't really want me messing things up' and the way he said it changes the whole context of the words...not that people actually thought he was serious, but watching it he says it in a total joking in jest way.. for what it's worth.
