You know that is just his opinion, right? He has no sources.

i'm with you. people are acting like Chandler and Gallinari is too much to give up. their inconsistency is one of the main things holding this team back. they show up one game, then disappear for the next 3. they ball in the first quarter, then are unheard from until the last 2 mins of the fourth quarter. that's just not good enough. will they get to a more consistent level some day? maybe. but we can't wait. Amare's got 5 years to win, and we can't waste those years waiting for gallinari and chandler to get their §hit together. Carmelo gives us a legit 2nd star right now, while amare and Carmelo are both in their primes. Carmelo is a straight upgrade from both of them combined.
and as far as Billups for Felton, I'm just going to say one thing: the leadership, the winning attitude and the commitment to team defense that he brings is worth ten Feltons combined. look at what he did to Denver. his mere presence completely turned that team around. think about him mentoring Toney Douglas. he could salvage this kids career. think about him mentoring Fields. this is worth more than anything he'd bring on the basketball court.
yes, i am of the opinion that we should make anyone and anything available for carmelo (not including amare obviously.) any combination of any player. it boils down to this: some of you think it's too much, I, simply, do not. in fact, i think it's the other way around, and we would be the ones getting a steal. but we will just have to disagree on that.
It's too bad Gallo and Chander are already 22 and 23 and can't improve. If we were smart, we would trade them both for 35 year olds.

I said it before also, please let us into your insight....

If i remeber correctly didnt yall boo when you drafted gallo a few years ago at the draft? I dont get it. I dont see why you wouldnt pull the trigger and go be a great basketball team, roll players are a dime a dozen.

That is what happens every time you try to appeal to the broad masses
