dude is a corn. I remember when he was trying to rap when "getting lite" was popping back in 07 & 08. Dude was a cocky dude claiming he was a hood star & didn't have the talent to match. He made minimal improvement since. He & another harlem dude by the name of Knocka were both running around feeling entitled because they were from harlem. Lol

Back in the day when Cassidy was taking shots at 50 [during his beef days] he wanted no part of Cassidy. Can't act like I really listened to him in about damn near a decade, but Cass was a beast back in the day. The Cassidy battle intros were always great, hell I still think some people got the I'm A Hustla ring tone going off .

commercially he is garbage. You can't say his pen game to spit bars outside of that arena is garbage. he has some of the hardest lines said in the game. I don't think there is a rapper alive that wants to see him one on one.

- Disappointed how little talk there is on Still Brazy. I love the funk... the street wisdom.. the stance he takes as an artist. He's still raw, but he gets you bouncing while talking his talk. Not a bar spitter, but someone who keep it a buck in his rhymes. 'She wish she was' and 'Don't Come to LA' pretty hard tracks. Drake catchy as a mf'er when he rock with YG as well.

- Wale mixtape dropped last night. Totally different sound/lyrical stance. Think he got sick of attempting to become a messenger in society and is more focused on dropping hits with a wide array of melodies and harmonic hooks. Definitely got the summer vibes though..

waledance was that work. He was ahead of the game with gogo/hiphop. Goldlink killing it with the gogo/hip-hop vibe right now. I think The Gifted was fire but TAAN was hard on the ears sonically, despite having bars. I actually prefer MMG Wale to Scope Wale. They were tryna make him a fruit when he always had some grit to his game. He got HHH Jim Ross Mark Whalberg and Amy Schumer on this joint. The Ty $ track fire.

I think Wale can spit, but I have to admit that I would rather listen to Kodak Black. Kodak Black might the weakest Lyrical rapper that I have ever cared about. I literally **** with with him heavy.

Goldlink is a beast. Probably my favorite rapper that's come out in the last 3 or so years.

Halfway through the Wale tape. Nothing stood out so far but it's not bad. I just don't see myself listening to it again unless there's way better songs on the way. This is way too mediocre to be Wale.

I tried Goldlink after you and Greenie said I might like it, but it's just not the same as golden Wale. Nike Boots, WALEDANCE, his freestyles, first CD, first mixtapes, and other early stuff. It was fire.

Is the new Wale any good?

Also, when is Gambino coming out with new music? Aside from Big Sean's finally famous mixtapes, Gambino had some awesome one-liners.

He was always an actor, though. Was releasing music at the same time. Released two CDs in 2014 (or 2015?). I have faith he'll come back with more stuff. Pharos earth was an app with a countdown to something - nobody knows what.

Yeah, I know a lot of hip-hop purists that actually rock with Kodak. You can tell he has a Gucci influence but he still but his own stroke on it. Not my type, but I respect him way more than Uzi/Yachty.

- Bino got a new album coming out real soon. I actually really like Bino. His voice is actually dope. Awesome one liners? eh, more Kanye-esque where they made you laugh. I thought he really figured out music in his last 2-3 projects. He has negative swag so he'll never get respect, but he definitely makes great music.

- New Wale is absolute fire. It's a story of him leaving NY/ATL for LA. It's the culture of LA with a Wale twist in a project pretty much.

Yah I meant funny one liners. That's why I said it reminded me of Big Sean's early stuff.

I'll check out Wale's new mixtape for sure.
