In a heart beat. I love Anderson's game and think he would be a phenomenal piece on this roster. Have previously proposed the same deal, hope Mills and Perry are on the same page too.

Not really. We don't have any expiring deals like the Jazz do and we also don't have a need for any of the Magic bigs, like Vucevic.

Yeah, but Vuc isn’t a liability contract. He’s had a great year. I don’t think he’s their worst contract at all.

I still don't think he's in their future plans. They will look to move him eventually but yeah he's not on a terrible deal. If their plan is to open up PT for Isaac and the incoming rookie then Vuc could get packaged.

Plays one side of the ball and rebounds well. Defense is garbage, though.

Yeah don’t get it twisted, I hate Vuc’s game. Just don’t think he’s a terrible contract.

Funny thing is a worse version of Vuc is my absolute ceiling for Willy which is why I want no parts of him going forward. Again if SA offers Slowmo you take it and run. I don't care if the fact it's SA makes people have second thoughts about it... They've whiffed before and I really just don't see it with Willy at all

And my thing with Willy is.... There aren't many teams out there who function as a good defensive unit with a poor defensive big man getting major minutes. Really the only one I can think of is SA and they have elite coaching and LMA is good enough that he's passable on that end...That's why I have no hope for him. Having poor defensive big men strains you everywhere else. Like normally I think we could get away with playing KP at the 4 if our 5 was like a DAJ mobile type good defensive big... Instead we throw Kanter and Willy out there and KP feels the need to over help because of it and we hemorrhage open 3s as a result... You can live with bad perimeter defenders. You can't live with bad big men on that end IMO.

Not sure why he gets such a bad rap. He’s never had a bloated contract. His stats (including advance ones) aren’t that bad.

He’s also never played along side a dominant/near dominant player to compliment him in Milwaukee. Sure the Greek freak is the type of player but dude is used as a PG out there.

Eff that. We don't need to help either of those teams for Noel. I don't trust that guy will ever see 60 games a year. And he's an expiring who held out and didn't get a damn dime. I would keep WHG any day of the week over him

I would be stunned if we could pry both of these guy away from the Spurs. I'm sure they would want the chi 2nd rounder and maybe someone like McDermott.
Even then I think we might be some distance apart. But only because they are such sticklers in SA

I'd do SlowMo for Willy straight up to be honest if the Spurs would go for it.

That actually makes too much sense.

If they don't trade him, they're going to have to max him out or S&T when the new contract is signed. Seems to me that unless they actually want to keep him the only way to unload some contracts is to move him now. It'll be interesting to see what they do. I mean, he's young, but teams aren't exactly unloading the wagon to trade for anybody anymore.

It really does make too much sense.

They can flip Frye and Smith/Shumpert for Hill and then trade Thompson and the Nets pick for Gordon.

Gordon gives them youth incase Lebron leaves but also talent for a Finals run. He also helps them spread the floor more with his newfound range.

From the Magic perspective, they get TWO Top 10 Picks. They can Draft Bagley or Young with their own Pick, and then one of the top SGs/SFs left with the Nets pick. They can then explore the market for Fournier or Payton for current or future picks.

Effectively saving $$$ while also speeding up their rebuke down there in Orlando.

And this is where I'm torn with kanter. I like him because of his effort and mentality he brings to the environment of the knicks, but he's not athletic enough to compensate for his defensive woes. But he also makes other teams pay, as a net gain, if they have weak interior defenses.

That's why I said in the Jordan thread, I love him for the fit and need, but he doesn't fit the plan

I'm selling my motorcycle for $3900. I posted $3500 cash firm. A guy offered me $2800. I didn't even respond because it's so insultingly low.

I don't think orl would give the knicks Fournier for willy + whatever to make salaries match
