kings fans say they would do Z-bo and mclemore for wes matthews

they would add a 2nd as well.

This trade should go down.

Kyrie's dad is a knicks fan...there no way he would accept his son going to the nets if he was a big knicks fan

Kyrie is awesome but he kinda scares me. He and Butler could easily become an Amare for a new team. One great year, then the body starts to go

thats disappointing but it'd be more disappointing if we didn't have DSJ. I don't think this takes us out of play for KD, and hopefully Perry/Mills can pivot and try to land Kawhi as the #2.

Personally I would love to trade for Beal (if the price is right)

If Smith is a PG we can roll with, you can hunt KD/Kahwi instead. I think maxing out Kyrie will end in disaster anyway.

I personally think DSJ can be that guy; his upside is high. Too many are quick too give up on guys in there first couple seasons (happened with D'Angelo Russell, now he's thriving Year 4). It takes time for guards to develop, but usually by Year 3 or 4 they find their groove

I can't be the only person that doesn't want Kyrie here. Guy can't stay healthy plus we have Smith, mudiay and Frank. I really want kwawhi and KD.

He pulled out cause he wanted president and GM dual role. Mills was conducting the interview while trying to secure president himself. That was the problem. The guy on the inside hiring is also gunning for the same job.

Burks > Wes

they are two different players. Burks is a slasher scorer off the bench. Wes is a 3/D wing.

I think on some gentleman’s agreement type stuff, we won’t send Wes anywhere he doesn’t want to be.
Same with DJ, who seems to genuinely be intrigued with being here.

There are only a handful of teams that could afford either and if say a Sacto is offering a second round pick, I could see him declining and us releasing him outright as a favor.

Of course if it’s a needle moving move we just do business as usual but I don’t think they’ll do anything to further sully our reputation with players right now.
We want this guy to talk nice about us on the way out.
It’s as big an asset to us as a 40-ish pick.

But yes, that deal makes sense.
Noah should get us at least a second.
