Julius creates sooo many open 3’s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He’s been playing well for them since that first game. It helps that he’s a player you don’t have to draw stuff up for or have someone setting him up

Just give the ball to Julius or let him bring it up after a rebound and he will make a play for himself or a teammate

Honestly, I'm loving Julius so far. Sure, we'd all like him to be like Draymond Green playing defense at PF, but I know it's not his game. He has been exactly what Minnesota needed to unlock more out of Anthony Edwards and the rest of this offense.

Freddie Gibbs name drops Jalen Brunson in his new album You Only Die 1nce -- give it a spin and check the call out. By the way, it's a sick record if you get it vinyl.

Nice to see Randle continuing to make his team mates better. Brunson has been struggling heavily without Randle over here.

Love this by Randle. Plays bully ball to get a bucket down low and then gets a steal for the fast break dunk.

Randle or no Randle, my understanding is ANT's 3 point shooting was in the game plan. He changed up his form a bit. That's not something you just do at the spur of the moment.

I'm a bully ball fan, so I miss Randle's style of play.

I watched portions of the Wolves-Bulls game. Julius looked happy playing for Minny. Hope he finds a long-term home there.

Question.... As someone that seems to care about KAT's defense judging by your posts on this board showing his struggles why are you not a little concerned that the Wolves are giving up 121.8 points per 100 possessions with Randle on the court and 98.4 per 100 possessions with him off the court despite him playing 2/3 of his possessions with DPOY Gobert on the court also?

I had huge concerns with Thibs ability to adjust and find a way to build a quality defense with KAT at the 5 and maximize the offensive potential of this group. I knew losing iHart and Mitch being injured would have a huge impact on the defense but could you explain how going from KAT to Randle has impacted the Wolve's defense so much?

It's still early and I don't believe we have seen the full potential of either roster but at the moment the Knicks' roster is not at 100% and they still have the ability to push KAT down to the 4 and play Mitch at the 5 when he returns. It lowers the ceiling on the team imo especially offensively but the team may look better and more consistent with players in different roles. The organization may also tinker around the edges in the trade market and could possibly use Mitch and/or Precious' contract for a bigger change but what do you expect Minny to do if things don't improve defensively?

Yeah but you don’t seem to realize Brunson is struggling because we traded Randle.

Well, I'm glad some of you are finally seeing and appreciating Randle's contributions from afar. There's a reason he made All NBA twice for us.

With our guy, we need our rim protectors back. This would have been true with Randle as well. Granted, Precious isn't a shotblocker but he's much better in PnR coverage than either of those two. Then there's the loss of iHart and Mitch's injury. Big deals, all of them.

This doesn’t look to be true by looking at the game logs from last season. I missed a bunch if not all of late season games including playoffs for personal reasons but I checked Brunsons game logs from March and April and he was cooking despite Randle not playing and the roster was even less talented than the one he has now. I’m not buying this he’s struggling because Randle isn’t here. I think Brunson is just adjusting to then new team just like everybody else and he will get into his groove sooner or later.

It actually looks like Brunson went nuclear after the ASB and played the best basketball of his career without Randle

I wasn’t serious, but if you browse this board (and page), you’ll find such BS in all shapes and forms.

Julius' strength forces opposing teams to double team him, which always leaves someone open for a 3 pointer.
