you never know. he's said he'd love to play here, but i think after the agents get in his ear, he'll workout for other teams.

Yes you do.

He's not going to give up money on his first deal to become a sub-lotto pick.

no. i don't know. not everyone is the same. not everyone is in it for the money. they're very few of people involved in pro sports who would take less however.

Even if that was his intention, he gets picked up before we draft. Especially with Top Ten Picks Sullinger, Thompson and maybe others already declaring to go back to school.

So then who's taking him... Detroit? Charlotte? Utah? After Irving goes 1,2 or 3 I only see Detroit as a team taking a PG.

its hard to say. it'll depends on what sorta talent will be in the draft. no teams are going to pass up talent over fit.

just because he doesnt workout for teams doesnt mean they would draft him. Look at Ricky Rubio and Steph Curry as recent examples...

Teams that need a point guard - Cleveland, Toronto, Detroit (unless they view Stuckey as their point of the future), Utah, Sacramento (moving Evans to 2 guard), and possibly Phoenix (unless they think Brooks is their point of the future).

We might need to trade up to get Kemba or Knight (I prefer Knight).

Cavs, Wolves, Raptors, Kings, Jazz, Pistons, Bobcats, Suns. Everybody can use a good Guard.

Right now ok... he's probably getting drafted in the lottery But he's still a 6ft tall SG essentially. I don't think he's going to fall to us but I also don't think it's as impossible as it seems. I would rather he get drafted because he's not what we need. I don't think his stock has changed much.

I remember reading that Charlotte was really, really high on him.

the only team on this list I can see drafting him is Detroit or Charlotte... and maybe Sacramento who can play him off the ball with Evans. You have to also take into account Irving will go before him guaranteed so that takes care of cleveland or minny if the lottery goes according to odds. There are going to be a few surprises in the years draft.

nbadraft.net has us taking tristan thompson. I'm not familiar with him, but seems like he's really good defensively, but he's a forward.
