Lowest career playoff win %.
Not jabs, people stating facts. Stop pretending Melo is some perfect player and act like he doesn't need the most talent possible around him to win. He's not Lebron james where you can stick 4 scrubs on his team make the finals.
So what's the alternative? Blow the whole thing up and start over yet again?

I don't want to watch Rocket games, but I am sure I will now that Lin is on their team, just as I am sure I'll watch a few Raptors games for Fields....really really disappointed.
**** you Dolan.

Why would you bring up such lies. Kobe has 5 chips, he's a great teammate, not a cancer & isn't anything close to a douchebag.
Melo is & he sucks....he sucks bad.

Honestly I think most of the tension on these boards are started by troll pretending to be Lin fans and dumb asses jumping all over that crap and claiming anybody who likes Lin thinks he God or something. Then a dumb anti-Lin fan says stuff like how Melo hates Lin and now Pro-Lin and Pro-Melo are at war....
I know. I WANTED us to match Lin. I have said match at all costs from the beginning...where is this coming from?

Jeez. take off the myopic glasses. Here are some numbers, ya know facts for your delusions:
1) Feb: Lin 21ppg, 4 reb, 8.4 assists on 47% shooting and 33% 3 pt fg
2) mar: Lin 15ppg, 3 rebs, 6.3 assists on 41% shooting and 33 3pt %

2nd best GIF ever.
I'm intrigued. What's the first best gif?

Hey, I want my PG to be a workhorse, not eat the horse.
Yet people take this 1/2 season sample of Felton and somehow think he's good. They probably tie it in with his draft position.
He's fat. He disappointed. He's body of work for all other teams besides the Knicks = not good. Every other team replaced him at PG with someone else. See any trends here?
It wasn't even a 1/2 season sample. It was one MONTH in December where Felton was playing like an all-star. After that, he regressed back to the mean, started shooting at a 35-38% clip, and started to develop an ego where he would take shots himself over passing to an open shooter. Felton was not a good point guard. I liked his heart and warrior mentality when he was a Knick, but Lin is flat out better.
[GR] wrote:Where was this reaction when he lost out on Nash? That was a gamechanger. That was a move that would have made the team a title contender. Lin isn't. Lin may be better than Felton, but he's not the difference in beating Miami or Boston. It'll be the same result.

So you're just going to ignore that Lin went from playing 40+ mins under D'Antoni to 29 mins under Woodson. Why? Because we were beating teams so bad that he wasn't playing the 4th qtr.

I think you are missing the point and jumping to conclusions.... I never said you, nor CoolKids did not want to match Lin.
All I was pointing out was that everybody has certain biases and yours was not toward being a Lin fan, but a big Melo fan. Therefore, when anti-Lin comments are made they do not offend you as much as anti-Melo comments. You'd ignore the anti-Lin, but take the anit-Melo as trolling. Dr.Z leaned the other way. That is all.

You can say the same about Lin.
People on this board were livid when Felton got traded in that package. They were mad about losing him too. That's how good he was during his run with us.

I don't think it's about losing an elite player or one that's going to bring the ring. That's a cold way of looking at it - like a wannabe GM, not a fan.
Fans get attached to homegrown products. That's why they didn't want to trade Shump for Nash, even though it's NASH.
Linsanity was organic.
