I dunno but I’m pretty sure they started their win streak right after we barely beat them. The Nets lost to them by double digits

And it’s not even because of that rookie they drafted because he’s not playing. Just a very bizarre turn of events that I can’t explain

I think when Jalen Green gets back Rockets should make him the 6th man similar to how Edwards and LaMelo were during their rookie year.

From what I remember the streak also started when news came out that Stephen Silas’ job was on the line.

Houston has a coach who actually plays hard for them. When we played Houston, they just out worked us. They also have alot of depth. Just alot of young streaky players so their losses understandable.
Eric Gordon has played both ends very well.

Thibs lost the team.

You wasn't the only one. I kept preaching to Melo who thought he was a bum last year that Kentucky Guards are usually ALWAYS better in the NBA. Never focus on what they look like in college. I even was talking about him at the back of the first round. That how much I thought he was such a talent to snatch up.

i vividly remember saying BJ Boston will be a stud!!!!!!! :)

Anthony Edwards man

"To me the best rim protector in the league is (Kristaps) Porzingis," Edwards said. "Anytime I go against Porzingis, I don't get no layups. I don't get why we couldn't finish on Rudy Gobert. He don't put no fear in my heart. I don't know why."

He definitely wouldn’t put up with Randle’s playing style:

Edwards also implored teammate Karl-Anthony Towns to play quicker and not to wait for double-teams.

"I told KAT, you catching the ball and you holding it," Edwards said. "You waiting for the double, telling them to come double me instead of catching it and going.

It’s pretty clear what he would think of PG’s guarding Randle:

Edwards also said he told Towns it was "disrespectful" that Utah was guarding the All-Star big man with Bojan Bogdanovic. Towns scored 22 points, but took just 11 shots. Edwards wants Towns to be even more aggressive.

"I tell him every game, every practice. You can shoot the ball, you can handle the ball, you got touch, everything," said Edwards. "They can't guard you, bruh. If he just stop waiting on the double team, we would be a way better team."

His straight talk is hysterical. Fun young star. Threw us through a loop when he was talking about not loving the game because we just weren't used to him yet.

Didn't want to take Boston early but I was stunned we passed on him in the 2nd. Coach Cal must have put in a bad word.

If so, totally stupid. The 2nd round is where you gleefully take those risks where the player's head is the question. Not pick 9 in a stacked draft!!! That said, I do like who we picked there.

The Only Bad Word is Thibs. Have you even heard of the knicks looking at a freshman in the last 2 years. Sims was one of the most garbage bigmen in the draft. If he was a freshman, we would have not drafted him. Because he was an upperclassman we picked him.

Knicks punted at 19 because they DIDNT want a freshman which plenty of was sitting there and knew they could get an "older" player later.

Best post-game interviews in the sport right now. Funny and on point all at once.

Ok, I’ma address the elephant in the room. Everyone pretending a new wave of COVID infections ain’t kinda running rampant in the NBA right now. And all the positives lately have been vaccinated individuals.

Who’s responsible? Kyrie? Beal? Isaac? General citizens in everyday life who may be unvaccinated? Or are the vaccines failing? Are boosters needed. Then boosters for the boosters? Then new vaccines for the new variants.

On the flip side are the vaccines working cuz none of the infected have been reported to be hospitalized or deceased. But then again, neither is Kyrie, Beal, Isaac, etc. (who haven’t even been positive in any recent reportings).

I won’t pretend to be smart enough to have a handle on this but it’s getting confusing.
