Ever Summer is the Summer of Giannis. Low key, I'm kind of sick of it.

maybe GS would do a S&T, and I could see them being interested in Hart. hell, I'd even do Mikal for Kuminga
his problem is that he can't shoot and isn't that good on defense. both of those things could be overlooked if he developed into a superstar offensive hub but that's a pretty big if and if he doesn't he's kind of just a 6th man. also dumb as bricks apparently.
he's probably capable of putting up 25 on the wizards or hornets while winning 25 games though

Giannis doesn't strike me as a player that would demand a trade to a specific team. The Bucks are going to want a truckload for him IF, and that's a huge IF, they were agreeing to trade him. I don't see the Knicks even being close to a match given their remaining assets.

I find it funny how you call the Mikal trade “quite bad in hindsight” and propose a trade of Mikal for a bench player who may never actually become better than him, all within only a minute or two. I disagree with those ideas. Bridges has been good for us.
we don't exactly have control of our future 1sts. 2032 is when Knicks are in clear for having all their picks b/c of that trade. When I take into consideration that, than yeah, Mikal trade was kinda bad. Dude was not the same level defender he had been in previous years and he can only hit 3's in the corner. frankly, I don't think that's worth to the close to ~40M annually he can get on an extension
as for Kuminga, whenever he gets the opportunity, he shines. + he's 22 and already has 4 years playing for a winning organization in big games

I don't care what else we do. We have to get Dumars on the phone for a Hart + Precious for Trey Murphy trade while Dumars still has power there...
Dude is pulling an Isiah Thomas and we gotta get in on it.

Precious has an 11.4mil cap hold this summer. I don't think we can S&T him being over the 1st apron. The CBA is maddening!!

Hart + Tucker + Dadiet (or other filler) gets us there... heck, throw in the WAS 1st as well.
Bring Murphy home! Three defensive demons (OG, Mikal, Murphy) next to Brunson and KAT is the way.

I haven't done the math but, I don't think that's even close to possible without going over the 2nd apron. We will then have to fill out 5 roster spots with very little money. I could be wrong but. We aren't doing three for one trades this summer.

Hawks gotta be in the drivers seat for Giannis.
Jalen Johnson, Milwaukee 2026 1st returned would be 2 premium assets for Milwaukee to get in return.
Hawks are also so far below arpon, that they could take back Kuzma's contract.

Giannis is in the driver's seat. He will dictate where he wants to go when the time comes.

I think he is waiting until a couple of weeks before training camp. Every year before training camp, something always happen. Thats when you see the camp roster and say fck this.

You have to be an intelligent player to be an offensive hub. Everything about this guy screams no though. Meanwhile, Bridges is a very good, smart and complete two-way player.

Giannis is going to ask out via his agent and teams like MIA, NYK, ATL and HOU will probably be on his list. KAT + HART or KAT + Bridges is what we could offer and it's not half bad if MIL still wants to remain competitive in the putrid East (which makes sense since they have no reason to tank)

You realize there are cap and apron rules right? KAT makes 1mil less than Giannis. What are we doing with Hart salary in this trade? Mikal? We take Kuzma back?

We have ZERO FRPs to trade. Both teams are apron casualties. Milwaukee has no reason to tank without getting multiple FRPs. Giannis to Knicks would have to be Knicks or no one and he has three years left on his deal. Teams would take that risk.
I don't see how a Knicks trade makes any sense for Milwaukee.

Re: Trades and Transactions 2025 continued x2
Do you guys think Milwaukee has the assets to upgrade their roster ??
I think the Damian LiLLard trade was a bad fit and a bad trade.
A lot of their players are free agents and they also have players on different timelines.
It’s only fair for Giannis to give them a chance to make some moves in the public eye so if they fail, he cant be seen as the bad guy for wanting to get out

Pairing Lillard with Giannis was never a bad idea. Turned out it didn’t work. That’s all.
I wish these simple truths wouldn’t always go unnoticed on this message board.

i wouldn't call bridges a complete two-way player lol, that's definitely overselling his skillset. bridges on paper is much better than bridges in reality though maybe we'll see better from a new coach
we'd definitely have to throw hart in there too if we're trading for kuminga. the kuminga & hart lineups would be atrocious
