True. But I'm not sure that there's really one guy that likely will be available that would be an ideal fit. Every one of these guys have some hiccup in their game that would make them questionnable in one way or another.

Yea I understand the Brooks love I guess because he has great length for a SG with the game to match. Definitely skilled. But Selby just does nothing for me. Hes doing a good job of creating some buzz for himself and trying to be a PG but Im not falling for it.

So yea while its nice to warm up to some of these guys, the truth is they arent very talented in the grand scheme of things, which is why there are so many question marks and flaws with everybody. We just have to get a rotation player out of it.

All I know is from what Im gathering I really dont want Selby.

Even though we don't see eye to eye on Faried, I think I agree with most everything else about the draft. Not really digging Selby either.

Speaking of players I'm not crazy about, I think I'm also def off the Vucevic wagon too. He just seems like a stiff to me. I can't get past the 1.4 blocks in 35 minutes a game for a 7 foot college player. That is pretty terrible.

Why do people make fun of Bayless but want Selby?

I can't stand undersized 2's who don't know how to run the point.

I have a gut feeling we'll end up taking Klay Thompson if hes available..

There were talks of us looking for a shooter, who could just catch-n-shoot, and Klay is exactly that

Jimmer might not be available, Marshons rising fast he might not be available, I dont see any big men that can help us that will be available at 17...Selby sounds too Douglas-ish for my taste, and Klays projectory is right about where we'll be picking..

1.4 blocks is not that bad- it's kind of a stretch to call it terrible. He has the length and reach to be a good shotblocker- he might not have the ups to be a great one though. He also has the size/weight to be a good post defender as well. I am reserving my endorsement until we see what his athletic test results are.

I've been hard on Faried but only because you know D'Antoni will wind up playing him at center. He's 6'7 and we need height- Amare was our tallest player last year at 6'8.5 without shoes (taller than Ronny, Shelden and yes, our other "center" Shawne). It just makes it too easy for 7 footers like Bogut etc. to turn around and shoot over them in the post.

Yup. Cant see how we pass on Klay if hes there, which he might not be now. Too good a fit. Id be fine with Brooks too, just not over Klay and some other guys. No No to Selby.
