I think if KP starts using the Ballhog Gloves he’ll be fine.

Nah. That was only a joke. I saw that picture before, and wanted to fit it into this situation. Wasn’t meant as a shot at Knicks fans or Porzingis.

So, basically you wanted to troll and be a d*ck, but don't want to own it.

I wonder how many lurkers wanted to start posting here, but then saw buzzardman's posts, and were like "nah, this board is crazy".

Well, I laid it on a little thick, but you don't think KP's hit a wall again? Would be 3rd year in a row, but early because of Euro tournament and summer practices. I didn't say he'd be horrible, just inefficient and struggle to score over 30, but still be dropping over 20 game in, game out, just with high usage. I hope not, but it sure seems logical.

Or were you referring to posts like this:

Don't worry, dude. I get it. Best to just back away from this thread/board. RealGM Knicks is having another mental breakdown, and it's gonna be messy until KP (who is actually a human) heals his wounds, has a bounce back game, and everyone is back on the train. Then everyone can have a cookie and be nice boys and girls.

This league over the course of a season is a game of adjustments. Great players find a way to adjust - and I think KP's on the trajectory of being a great player so I would expect him to adjust to how defenses are playing him. I'm not a coach or a great player, so my opinions are fairly limited. But I'd imagine he should probably be getting the ball deeper in the post and a lot earlier in the shot clock before defenses settle in. There's also not as much value getting him the ball 25 feet from the basket, than say, 10 feet. Adjust adjust adjust. Some hard fouls and laying out defenders who are literally sitting underneath his chest are viable options. I'm not advocating for dirty play, but to not give a player any space to turn around is just as bad as that player giving you a hard elbow in the jaw. Maybe he'll take a step back next time...

Yeah, I wasn’t on this board at all until somebody quoted a post I made on the Raptors board in this thread, and I got notified of it. And then I just wanted to clarify that I meant no hard feelings by it.

Anyone complaining about KP's health needs to take a look at Anthony Davis...nothing is guaranteed. That said, I think KP does a good job of keeping himself in shape.

Three concussions. That's approaching "needs to retire" territory.

I mean, what if he gets another? And of course each one is easier to get.

I think people are concerned not so much with his health, but with his stamina. The elephant in the room being , Is it something that he will struggle with throughout his career or is it fixable? I did a quick google search on anemia and it is apparently curable or in the very least treatable..

There's never been a single word about his being anemic. It's pure innuendo & speculation.

If he has anemia, for sure it's a treatable/curable version and the Knicks have been monitoring and taking care of it. Any more serious forms of anemia would prevent him from even taking to the court, never mind playing over 30 minutes a game.
