not terrible reporting, the guy with sources is saying mets are fuming right now and that luba's ethics were immoral.

mets genuinely believe as of last night, they had a deal, were told bauer wanted to announce it on his social media, and that only some minor langue things were being discussed.

and if you watched the video bauer posted on yuotube, it's him going back and forth between wearing a mets jersey and dodgers jersey.

my stance on bauer is that he’s a great pitcher but also this is his timeline

- says gerrit cole and the astors doctor the ball
- says he knows what substance they use, a mixture of coca cola
- says if he used this same substance, it’ll add so much spin rate
- 2020 season happened

I think we're better off without him. We can use the money to spend on other areas plus it leaves us flexible for taking on money in a mid-season trade. I betcha that there will be small market teams losing games and money during the pandemic that will want to shed contracts. Plus we get Thor back.

mets sign albert almora!!!

hopefully a change of scenery helps him, incase you didn't know he was a pretty good hitter up until may 29th 2019 when he sadly struck a girl in the face with a foul ball. ever since then he's been hitting like under .200, so it's all mental with him.

but his defense is still good.

Did you watch him play against us last season? He was HORRIBLE.

It's a "Whatever" signing. Maybe we catch a little lightening in a bottle and he provides some pop off the bench, assuming he makes the team.

What the Mets need to do is somehow unload Betances and Familia. That would clear up money to make some other deals and provide flexibility.
