Realistically, Grimes is in in this deal. He's on a long term rookie contract and Utah likes him apparently.

RJ won't be included. Utah doesn't want to pay. And I will go as far to say they don't want (or don't highly value) IQ or Obi as they are due for contract extensions in 2 years.

Yeah, I really think this is possible because Utah wants picks. They probably don't see value in IQ and Obi, but those two can be valuable for the Knicks who will be cap tied for a while and struggling to find rotational players.

Knicks will basically have to accept they will be in cap hell though once they resign RJ and then Obi + IQ lol. But I don't think Dolan will give a fvk as long as the team performs.

Idk, sounds a lot like hes saying he misses the NBA. Its not like going to the Jazz is anymore competitive than playing for the Knicks, so theres no reason for us to take that statement as him trashing the Knicks.

There’s at least three options all of whom could net you back a FRP at some stage. Randle, Hartenstein and/or Mitch I think, if performing reasonably, you could get a good pick for.

So I lean heavily toward trading more picks over players for now. Especially since this FO has shown it’s capable of finding talent late in drafts. You might send out 5-6 picks now and easily claw back two of them by the time the 23-24 season has started.

No trade is happening today/tonight. Woj already said it will take weeks.

Woj is full of poopoo saying the wolves set the tone with the 5 picks and that we should make it 6 picks plus 3 of our young guys………no way in hell Knicks fans.

They can take 5 picks plus Randle, IQ, Grimes, and McBride.
Let them trade Randle before the trade deadline.
