They're still grieving from the loss of their Big 3. From that to now fielding a team led by Mikal Bridges and Dinwiddie in an instant. I think they're still in the denial stage. Mikal is really all they have. He might have to ask out for the Nets to part with him.

I'm calling BS. This is NewEra level shenanigans. You don't build _around_ Mikal Bridges.

Bridges is a #2 option at best you don’t build around him but he can be a strong piece to have around

I personally rather trade for a #1 so we can make Randle our third option and use him more of a playmaking role (Draymond green).

Assuming Mikal is the SG on offense, does he really have enough guard-like skills?

To me, it would be 2 SF offense, with all the implications of a SF skillset vs a guards.

The defense and switchability would be out of this world though.

He can't dribble to save his life.

But if you're asking him to stand in a corner and space for Brunson and Randle, he would probably be amazing.

So Sean Marks is Woj's direct source on the Nets. He's doubling down.

He got offered 4 1sts for Bridges last season and refused. Now the asset has depreciated since it was clear from the playoffs last year that he is nothing more than a roleplayer who caught fire. 45m+ tied into Bridges and Cam Johnson, Ben Simmons' career is over, and Houston owns all of their draft picks. Desperation will set in sooner than later...Leon should keep some spare gunpowder for when the firesale begins.

Bridges is a #3, and that is being generous. He's not that good.

Nice guy, can definitely fill a role on the Knicks, but way overrated. You don't build around 3 + D roleplayers.

I mean, the trouble for the Nets is that they can do something like Simmons + bounty of picks for Siakam, Lauri. In terms of the "box office" types zion is on a winning-type team and so is Spida. I think Mitchell is most likely to go to BKN if not Miami so they are going to have to give to get.

Jalen Johnson looks good.

Murray is definitely more of a free safety than a cornerback defensively. They're putting him on Josh Giggity and just letting him roam in from the weak side.

SGA got going when JJ had to come out of the game and DJM started to guard the POA.

I feel like the Raps are a bit disjointed because of the run Siakam's been on. Once they trade Spicy P, Barnes should be able to take over more and IQ's spot/role should become clearer.

And yeah, RJ does just seem to fit better than he did here.
