Would be nice to see that version of Bojan more often.

We will stick with a 9 man rotation. When the team gets 100% healthy, Bojan will be out of rotation.

I don't think so. Depending on the matchup, I think Thibs is extending to 10-man rotation (not sufficient adjustment). I can't imagine Precious collecting DNP's, for example, but if they're playing against a zone defense in the playoffs, Precious' minutes will probably go down in favor of Bojan.

I think the trio of bog, burks, and precious will be matchup-dependent for a bench rotation spot. I imagine preference/advantage precious.

Hart, deuce, and Mitch should be fixtures.

thanks for everything, thibs.

Lumping these two together to pretend the trade has been trash is dumb.

Bojan's numbers will only uptick as the team gets healthier. Burks? I've seen nothing that leads me to believe he will remain in the rotation when the roster is at full strength.

Not making the case for Burks, but if someone wanted to the argument would have to be about Burks being a decent defender while Bogey's a sieve + Burks having more room to bounce back offensively. Because despite Burks' struggles, our net-rating w/ & w/o Burks goes down by -15.5pts / 100 possession, while Bogey brings us down -20.35.

Again not arguing for Burks to play over Bogey...especially if we get healthier, because a more specialized tool for Thibs to use like Bogey will probably be more useful than a more well-rounded minutes eater like Burks...at least unless Deuce, Donte, & Josh all just have a horrible series at the same time. Just trying to explore why Burks might.

This is my expectation as well if we get healthy. Assuming an 8.5 man rotation, I think 7 spots are essentially guaranteed...Juju, OG, RobinHart, & the Nova Knicks...with Deuce & Precious currently ahead of Burks, Bogey, Sims, Milton, etc. for those final 1.5 spots in a vaccuum.

But ultimately, I expect Thibs to go with what works in a specific matchup.

If it turns out that our two-way guys are shooting like butt so teams are clogging our offense up too much for our D to overcome, but Bogey & Burks are hot and holding their own defensively, then we could see the Detroit duo getting 25-30mpg in a series with Deuce and Precious not even playing; while DDV has his minutes cut.

Burks drags everyone on the team down. A huge net negative.

I’m guessing no contract extension for now. Hope he comes back healthy next season, and toughens up a bit.

Should've traded for Dejounte Murray instead, Leon.

Asking price was probably too much. It wasn't our year to pull the trigger on a blockbuster deal.

Next year we still have BB as an expiring + all our 1st round picks.

He's barely getting 20 MPG with Randle injured... Give Hart a rest day and let BB cook.

Burks and Bojan suck and are useless in competitive basketball.

Grimes and Fournier >>>>>>>>>>>>> washed Malik Rose and poor man's Fournier.

If Bogs and Burks were house pets, they would be euthanized, probably in a 2 for 1 special down at the mall, at Euthanize Palace.

Hard to give BB minutes when we're trying to win games. This isn't a development team anymore.

In all seriousness, Pistons had like 6 wins at the time of the trade and dead last. There's no way anybody on that team was valuable.
