So Malone and Thibs actually have some history (son of the late former Knicks assistant Brenden Malone). Would be awesome if he did a Robert Saleh and just jumped on our bench for the remainder of the season as a consultant.

Mike Malone's dad Brendan had as many as 3 stints with the Knicks!

'87 and '88
'97 to '00
'04

Brendan Malone assistant coached alongside Thibs from '97 to '00

During Brendan Malone's last stint in '04, that was the year Mike Malone got his first NBA job with the Knicks as assistant coach and scout

I'll be shocked if Mike doesn't job on the Knicks job if it's offered to him if Thibs is let go after the playoffs

Not surprised. Luka is him.

Also love this chant and the fact they changed their court to resemble Brooklyns funeral home court. It's fitting.

Crazy game night tonight. Pacers technically still have a shot at the 3rd Seed, but a Knicks win or a Pacers lost kills that. Knicks playing Pistons, who have a big back to back game against the Bucks coming up, so a win tonight makes that back to back have some weight if (I think) the Bucks lose tonight. Warriors losing yesterday opens up a patch for T-Wolves or Grizzles to sneak into the 6th Seed. T-Wolves have the easier schedule and tonight's game against the Grizzles is basically a must win for them.

Tbf they’re balling rn

we wanted Derozan over kemba and F0urni3r that summer. I think he would’ve been a big help in the playoffs for us cause we needed a secondary creator badly.

And lavine has been showing up against contenders.

If I'm a Utah fan I'd have thrown a **** slushee under FLipokiwskis feet, they're neck and neck for the most balls for Flagg.

somebody put roids in Kawhi's smoothie. He looked 10 years younger vs. the Rockets last night, dunking, mid range, playing defense.

Braun is excellent, he was the 21st pick, and Watson was the 30th. Finding two rotational guys where they picked is great work, I agree he shouldn't have acted like KCP was easy to replace, but the Team owner is to blame for them not having KCP, Braun and Watson altogether. They didn't want to spend, and they are where they are because the GM has to build around a tight wallet.

Losing guys on a championship team is the owner's fault and nobody elses.

I 100% agree cheap ownership is biggest problem, but my thing is if you knew you were going to possible lose players because ownership is cheap you should make moves to maximize their value rather than let them walk for nothing like KCP.

Or you trade 5 picks and a swap for KCP.

How can you fire a GM who was given absolutely no choice by the NBA commissioner? Mavs fans and others are doing exactly what Adam Silver wants them to do, and that is to direct their frustration at the scapegoat.

This is wild.

Fans unleashing frustration. Cuban uncomfortable as hell. But he has to shoulder some responsibility he sold the team to terrible owners.

Im just glad that this isn't our chaos.
