That won't happen unless CP3 walks as aFA.

Is Shump is ballin' this season, he is trade bait.

Shump already is way more dynamic than Bell ever was.

I was thinking Leandro Barbosa. Athletic combo-guard off the bench who can handle the ball, attack the basket, and defend? Maybe that's how he views Douglas, I could be wrong.

Anyways, I like how he comes off in that interview. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders and is ready for whatever role he's given.

Shumpert did a "diary" article in the Post:

http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/knicks/showing_up_for_work_and_we_mean_GycE3J4OOhPym4vHqNiosJ

I walked in on the Knicks coaches during their meeting, but it was good to finally be able to speak to all of them. I got to the locker room to hear Carmelo Anthony’s boom box playing Meek Mill, then got shots up with Harrellson, Toney Douglas, Andy Rautins and Landry Fields.

Melo needs to stop listening to Meek Mill, and needs to upgrade from a boombox; doesn't he know its 2011?

Umm... Weren't you the same person bashing me for wanting to keep our young talents in Fields (steal of last years draft), TD23 (Strong 6th man off the bench) and Shumpert (Most athletic rookie talent in the league, best overall defender coming out of the draft) instead of trading them all away for CP3? But yet, now you're making post's such as "Shump is already way more dynamic than Bell ever was"? Too funny man.

On a side note, Kenneth Faried was the player I wanted during the draft, only because we lack size and rebounding ability down low; but I feel Shumpert has alot more potential in regards to becoming an NBA star.

I just think it's awsome how the league and owners locked these kids out... But couldn't stop them from playing ball. Simply loved it. Shump looks like a soon-to-be NBA star talent. There may never be another big man era such as the 90's with Hakeem, Ewing, Robinson, Shaq etc, etc at the Center position, but I'll tell you what... There has never been this much pure athletic talent as there is in the game today. Wow can these kids jump out of the gym. Simply amazing to watch.

What does one have to do with the other? Shump is more dynamic than Bell ever was, and I would still ship his ass out in second for CP3. I wouldn't even need the whole second to agree to trading Fields and TD either.

Happy now?

I'm gonna love what you have to say for yourself when A.) NY doesn't trade for CP3. B.) Doesn't sign CP3 as a free agent and C.) Shumper becomes an NBA/New York STAR.

Shumpert can guard the 1 through 3 position(s), is considered the best overall defender coming out of the draft, and Shump is also, by far, the most athletically gifted rookie out of this years draft class. Kid has star talent written all over his game.
