Well yeah, but will we be doing that with a championship or not? I wanted Lin back too, but doesn't hurt that much because I don't think he's the difference between beating Miami or not. And yes, I understand that you need a solid core to beat the elite teams in this league, but the reaction on this board is what I'd expect from Hornets fans prior to the Chris Paul trade.

love doesn't see nearly the time Melo does on the olympic team and the US team is in dier need of a big...also Deron Williams is not better than Melo and Neither is Kyrie Irving.

Amazing how everything comes back to fall on Melo. The guy must kick himself for wanting to come here. Melo made a dumb statement, but I doubt management is influenced by what he said.

And in the games he did actually play the fourth quarter (Pacers, 76ers), he was, with Melo, our closer.

It was a beautiful thing watching a multi-dimensional offense where our only option wasn't just throw the ball to Carmelo. The floor opened up for both of them.

Why are people pretending it never happened?
