What happened to DH in the post, he's horrible down there now, he used to be much better, never had great moves but he used to put the ball in the basket.

He destroyed Milwaukee tonight. Looked like the D12 of pre-back injury.

Couple rough games but hey, the assists are up to 6.4 after tonight ;) If only he had taken 8 shots in the second half as Quick Kick so irrationally predicted. Amirite?!

It's a long haul... much drama to go. Perhaps even pieces of your sig to be unveiled as tides shift.

Still overconfident huh? Just look at how bad he's been in January. This is November all over again.

There will be no drama. The more games he plays the more his "true" ability is revealed and the less hope you have.

I don't believe that Jeremy's Linsanity run was a fluke. The guy proved to the world what he is capable of doing when he is clicking on all cylinders. All he needs is some more NBA experience and some work on his game and he will be better than what he is now.

It's starting to look like he needs to be in a specific system with specific players. It would be ideal if he could go to a team where the offense is centered around him and a good rolling Big man... not these guys they have him playing with now who can't even catch a simple pass.

No he doesn't.

Lin just needs to be running the PNR exclusively. 26% of his possesions are the PNR this year. last year it was to 43%. Lin & Harden split PNR duty. If Lin was the sole PNR ball handler & Harden posted up, cut more & spotted up & came off screens & never handled the ball in the PNR Lins production will increase. However that will never happen because Harden doesn't have a post game, isn't particularly good moving without the ball, & rarely spots up. So Lin & Harden will always split the %time of possessions running the PNR half Half

the rockets don't even run the PNR that much any more because asik is a poor roll man. teams just sag off of him & double Lin & Harden. Also Lins trashy shooting adds to the issue because they just totally sag off of him as well. The only good roll man the rockets have is greg smith but he is weak defensively.

So what Lin needs to do this off season is work on his perimeter shooting. If he can become a more reliable perimeter shooter that will open things up so much more for him. Lin didn't know that he would be working alongside Harden so he likely worked a lot more on his on ball skills than off ball skills. All Lin needs to work on this off season is shooting that is it. Nothing else.

This off season Lin worked on his PNR game a lot & you can see the results. His PPP in teh PNR this season is 0.84 ranked 38th in the NBA last year it was 0.80 ranked 67th in the NBA. James Hardens PPP in the PNR is 1.09 first in the NBA

The Hawks have suspended Josh Smith for one game and he will not play on Wednesday.

Lin had 12 points on 5-11, 10 assists, 1 turnover. I don't understand the critique. It's Harden who is overrated and hogging the offense.

Yea but you see Knicks fans here or should I say Knicks fan (you know who) is out on a mission. I mean, Harden shot 8-20.

That said, Harden has grown on me. That guy can flat out ball and is near unstoppable at times going to the hoop. Still too much iso but Houston doesn't have a great supporting cast.

just curious. did either of you watch the game? I didn't but from his #'s he looked like he played a really solid game offensively 12 points and 10 assists is exactly where you want your PG at #'s wise in my opinion.

However looking at the clippers guards (bledsoe, crawford, and willie green) it looks as if they all had fantastic games. Was Lin outmatched defensively in that game? Who was he guarding for most of the game? He was a -12 +/-....not saying that stat is the end all be all but im curious to see who he was trying to check in that game.

I watched a good portion of the game before i went to sleep on it, and i was amazed at how every guard that stepped on the court went off on Houstons backcourt, but I do think they were playing above themselves.

They seemed clear from the jump that they were out to prove they are more than just Chris Paul.

As far as Houston goes my only comment about them is they were clearly overmatched, but they were in it for quite a while by constantly driving into the paint, then all of a sudden just stopped mainly Harden.

I saw the 1st half and that opening 3rd where Clips blitzed them. Lin didn't have a great game but no one did past halftime. Clippers are arguably a top 3 team and were clearly outmatching Houston. And we all know Bledsoe is legit good even if he's not a pure PG.

Have you seen Mcfail coach? This guy plays his starters way too much in blowouts. He tires his players out and I wouldn't be surprised if Houston got blown out by Dallas tonight.

Where did he say "Lin is better than Harden"? Lin gets critiqued WAY more than Harden ever does. Which is funny considering on any other team the SUPERSTAR player takes the criticism. And Harden doesn't play defense and is a turnover machine.

It wont be because of that and we all know it, one of the youngest teams in the league is tired?

They dont play well against their own conference, that's why they may lose tonite, it was well documented before this 4 game losing streak.

But i do think they win tonite, Dallas isn't that good, never thought they were.

They lost to Philadelphia and Boston during this 4 game stretch. Two eastern conference teams.

So? Their record against the East was just as elite as the other teams with a winning record in the West prior to these two losses.

But i wont use the "they're tired" excuse, more likely they have peaked and are tailing off.
