Lawd, have mercy on Brandon Knight's soul!
I'm just guessing when Adam cheated and ate the forbidden fruit, He never banished him from the Garden. Instead, He turned Himself into Kyrie Irving and turned Adam into Knight and broke his ankle like this...

Deron Williams was out of shape before aggravating an ankle injury in the Olympics that has hindered his first season in Brooklyn, USA Basketball president Jerry Colangelo told the Daily News.
The Nets have maintained their injured point guard’s body is worn down because of nonstop playing over the last two summers — which led to PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injections in both ankles this week — but Colangelo indicated Williams needed the work to lose weight.
“Deron Williams, for the Olympics, was not in the best shape,” Colangelo told The News on Friday. “He was a little overweight, and I told him that at the time.”

Everyone but Ibraheim knew that.
And yes, the eye test showed me Deron Williams has some spare tires this season.

First of all Colangelo is trying to cover his ass... Second Billy King who would know Williams exact weight says right there in the article Williams is exactly 1 pound heavier than he was when they traded for him... I safely assume he took a physical upon being traded and takes a physical before each season.
The ankle injury took place before the olympics and he re aggravated the injury in London... Colangelo is trying to shield off the one bit of criticism that Team USA has gotten since they started using Pro's... exposing well paid stars to injuries something a guy like Mark Cuban has always spoken out about.
If the "eye test" didn't show you that the guy was more hobbled than he was out of shape then he should be taking time off to "lose that 1 pound" instead of getting injections in both ankles.
Just like the "eye test" showed me last year that Melo's struggles during the regular season were more a result of injury more than they were of him being "fat" or because of "linsanity" is the same way I believe Deron's struggles were more of a result of one nagging injury after the another.
And just because you won't see me posting much anymore.. I won't hesitate to come on here when I see some of you trying to bad mouth me and light you up.
And I wasn't the only one... bare witness to Realgm Knicks forum HERO...

i never said that but actually joe johnson has been the one playing better. part of this is also the surge a team gets after a coach is fired.
So send a little of baiting his way also.. or are you scurred to bad mouth the deity?

That's funny because I can clearly remember (I'm actually reading it right now) you saying that his struggles were mental.

Re: Around the NBA part 4
Did Deron ever actually recover from the injuries that slowed him down last season? I could see him being out of shape if he was more focused on rehabbing. Anyway, dude really hasn't been that good for close to three seasons now...maybe he's just regressed?

Re: Around the NBA part 4
I've always called him overrated, saying it was mental was being nice, because i know how folks slob over this cat, quick to defend like he pays them child support, but we all do that as fans over somebody.
My dislike for that waste of talent was so bad folks begged for me to stop derailing a game thread because of it.

Not for the first two years he won't, the Knicks will have the right to match whatever he receives and those years cannot go above average salary...per Gilbert Arenas rules.
As far as the other part of the post, obviously Deron is better than Lin, but he isn't playing better, and the records of both players when playing are not close.
Personally I don't like Deron Williams, feel he is overrated, and I would not call him a superstar like some would.
Superstars make players around them better, and their team gets better no matter who is on the floor.

I will, even if I'm the only one to do it.
Deron Williams is the pure definition of overrated.
Can't shoot, 2-1 assists to turnover, did I say shoot too damn much?
I don't care if the Knicks don't have a pg, I will stand by this one.
Deron Wiliams is only marginally better than Brandon Jennings.

Marginally better than Brandon Jennings is just being mean Thugger! lol, but yeah, I think he's just been exposed since losing a system made for PG's to put up big numbers. Deron is a good PG who can explode with his scoring and passing on a given night...but he has serious flaws and it's clear that CP3 was always the better of the two.

I dont like him, never did, and everyone knows it, but of course that was to fan flames when i first posted it.
I've also called him a top 10 player on numerous ocassions as well as recent as this offseason, even when his play has considerably gone down.
I'm fair, I'm not 100% slanted, I've even had him in front of melo on my personal rankings, so there is no bias from me.

Switching gears, a three point shootout should be right up Novaks alley.....
Constant three point attempts and no defense....should be record setting.

He worked on a sped up release this offseason too, so assuming the nerves don't get him...I feel like he should put on a great show. I'm really hype for James White v Gerald Green part two as well. I would love to see the Knicks win both the big competitions and give some good vibes back to our fan base.

White brought JR to Houston with him, I expect something sick to come out of that.

The NBPA player rep vote on Billy Hunter's ouster was 24-0, sources tell Y! Apparently, six teams weren't represented at meeting.
