it doesn't matter about next year...we don't own DAL pick next year

correct, but i thought you were saying who are the locks for next season's PO race. my fault

no i was referencing the threat to DAL making the playoffs when we own their pick.

worst acceptable russ deal is russ, heats first, 2022 clippers unprotected firsts and bazley for our trash. can send them rj for an additional unprotected first.

I’d go after Russ, but I’m not giving up picks rj and Mitch. That’s crazy talk

Okc out Lakers in. No difference imo.

Yea, that was my point.

The Canadlings went from "thanks for everything" to "we will find you and we will kill you" real fast.

They traded for D’Angelo Russell too. If they don’t like the fit when Klay gets back, they should be able to move him for other pieces pretty easily (assuming his play doesn’t fall off a cliff this year).

Probably to MIN for Covington and Teague is my guess.

This quick twitch thing is interesting but unclear. It seems like just a way of trying to poop on RJ lol.

oh **** that's right. forgot about that. still don't think that DLo, curry, draymond gets them auto into the PO. but maybe DLo continues his growth. but to me, he, curry, and draymond need the ball to be most effective. curry and dray work well together. not sure DLo will have the chemistry, at least not right away

I don't delve on other team boards, but are the Raptor fans really upset? Why?

If Kawhi was here for one season and it ended in a title I'd still be likely drunk.

GSW
Clippers
Lakers
Utah
Denver
Portland
Rockets

all those are pretty much locks now.

1 spot for the rest of the crew.

i'm not sure GSW makes it. isn't it only curry and draymond for next season? isn't klay out for the season? durant's in BKN. and iggy left, and probably cousins as well (cousins would be smart to go back to GSW for one more year and prove himself with one of the best playmakers in the NBA).

They picked up D'Angello Russell and Willie Cauley Stein

Their bench is still buns but their starting 5 is still solid

ah, forgot about WCS as well. yeah, maybe they'll be fine to make PO.

they really turning on him that quickly? that's ridiculous. pretty sure he was upfront, from the beginning, that he's not a lock to stick around, regardless.

he delivered them a championship (their first and only?). they should be praising him for as long as he's in the league.

Few would have thought the Clips were a playoff team last season yet they were so you saying they wouldn't have next season means little. Most of the high end stars have longer term contracts so their presence on west teams will influence when the Knicks do get the pick.

The two teams I suspect could have a quick fall off by the time the Knicks own the pick are the Rockets and Warriors because they are older teams, the rest are pretty young so in two seasons they should only be better through development unless injuries of course.

I could see it. Maybe a protected 1st from Minnesota if GS balks

That 2021 Mavs pick will likely be similar to our own. I don't see the Mavs making the playoffs anytime soon.
