Big win for my squad, like others I was expecting a much closer game against a very talented Nuggets squad. Capela and Ingram both with big games, Capela held his own against a very talented front court of KAT/Draymond/Woods, posting a triple double which included 10 blocks.

This game made my KAT for KP and Moody ( 13th Pick ) trade look really good. Its just one game though.

I am with you on wanting to make future moves. I could use a upgrade at a guard slot or any position on my bench. In particular a defensive upgrade. I don't have enough top 100 players ( 80+ Rating ).

My bench is probably going to cost me a real shot at the bubble title. I think these tanking teams should take a hard look at Killian's upside. He is perhaps one more season away; but him and Cunningham could be the guard combo of the future...

I won't move him for a one year short term fix. He also fits Luka and Zion's timeline well.

This has nothing to do with the bubble, but our BAF sim. If any of you have noticed, Championship teams form habits early in our sim. They dominate fairly early in the season, and sustain that dominance throughout.

As currently constructed and barring major injuries, I believe it will be very difficult for any of us to beat Cleveland, Portland or Dallas in 7. It may be a hard pill to swallow for some of us, but I’m just keeping it real. If the rest of us don’t look to improve, the writing is on the wall. I know many of us want to win, but there can only be one winner. What are you doing to make sure that winner will be you? Those teams have set the bar and it’s gonna be a wake up call for a lot of us who think we’re ready when the sim says otherwise.

I’m just trying to help when I point this out. Success in this sim don’t come easy. The rest of us got work to do! Don’t sleep.

I’m not expecting to get a “Amen” on this either

I have to disagree, the SiM championship is up for grabs, they are certain things that the SIM favors and I believe if you can find that formula you have a chance. I lost in 6 to the Cavs last year and one of those losses by 1 point. Of course the Cavs stuck to his starters playing around 32mpg which he could change, but I think I can throw some funky line ups like I did last year when I had Ingram come off the bench and Edwards being a DNP.. and believe my team is better than it was last season to push the Cavs to a deciding 7th game where anything is possible.

I am not ready to give up and neither should other contenders!

Not sure if you realized but for the first four 4 games I did absolutely no defensive matchups. Everything was on auto. When it was 2-2 that’s when I put in my defense matchups. And I won the next two games. I wasn’t taking you seriously

Anything can happen i know you weren't taking me serious but still took a couple of games when you should of won regardless of trying. Injuries happen, moves throughout the season can also happen, as far as I'm concerned the East and Championship is still up for grabs

That’s the thing. The goal of my statement wasn’t to suggest “giving up” lol. If guys take it like that then they’ll never be successful. The goal is to get GMs to make honest evaluations of their teams and see where improvements can be made. This doesn’t just happen in the off-season, but throughout the season as well. Your team as constructed will have a very difficult time beating Cleveland, Portland or Dallas. You know I respect the strides you’ve made, and your performance in the playoffs was impressive. But what’s the goal here? If you wanna beat CLE, it’s gonna take more.

I too will be getting SIM upgrades, especially on the defensive side of the ball which is what I believe is necessary to beat a team like yours. Thybullr could have an over 90 defensive rating, Capela will see his defensive rating increase, Ariza was over 80 last year, and Caruso will also liekly have an over 80 defensive rating. I know it will be difficult to go offense for offense with you so got to try something on the defensive side of the ball.

And that offer makes me worse not just this year but into the future, Morant is locked in for 4 years at 11 percent cap and already has a 3.5 star rating

Without naming the player, there is no chance in hell he gets 4.5 stars next year he will maintain his rating but he is expiring and is really not a championship difference maker upgrade over Morant
