More perspective , guys on Knicks who have the exact same agent with Paul George (Aaron Mintz):

Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Isiah Hartenstein, Julius Randle.

And of course OG Anunoby has an agent from the same agency who happens to be the son of Leon Rose.

Aside from injuries, PG and OG would be the big, physical wings that would help defense Tatum/Brown.

Don’t count out PG13 or Butler…

Mitch, Bogs, McBride and scraps before the new salaries kick in can get it done. It’s doubtful either of those teams will find great offers for either of those guys at their ages.

We are one of the few teams that could return young assets. Mitch can go to a 3rd team for other assets.

I would not be opposed to adding PG13 or Butler to our Nova + OG, Randle, IHart core. It could be special…

You don’t seem to realize that the player you’d be happy with doesn’t really exist. Plus, running it back isn’t even enough to compete with Boston, Denver, Minnesota or a healthy Embiid as we speak. But they’ll retool of course. You like to complain about other’s talking points, but have little to offer. “I suggest we get someone who wants to win a championship“ - what does that even mean?

Here' s what I will offer.... If the right player come along to try to get him.. If not we don't have to concede and give up valuable assets to take a non winning player... who would disrupt our identity and set us back .

It depends on the vet pg. We will also have Hart off the bench who can kinda play that role too.

The bigger issue in the playoffs over a backup pg is we that we were missing a #2 that we can run the offense thru when Brunson sits. Randle was hurt and had a bunch of other injuries so that was a big factor. The drop off from Brunson to our next best player was too big. Hopefully Randle is back healthy and can fill that role.

When everyone is healthy Burks won’t even play and Hart will get major minutes off the bench. Mitch(or C)/Bojan/Hart/Deuce is the bench and looks good. There’s really no room for DSJ. Maybe in case of injury, but we could use another wing for OG insurance more.
