Woj made the point on the broadcast - in a league where nepotism is part of the lifeblood of the ranks of ownership, FOs, and coaching, the idea that it is somehow offensive when a player gives his own son a boost is really shortsighted to me. It's buying into the billionaire's side of things - do a thing, but then vilify the class below you when they do it...so you can keep doing it yourself.

I'd call it a good draft. They added a few future 2nds (3 total I think) and got most of their targets, but missed on Freeman. More hits than misses overall.

Knicks low key killing draft. Mccular Big all 12 defense, 18 ppg, 1.5 steals, team was 11 points worse with him off court.

Came in with two late firsts and a second and added Dadiet, Kolek, McCullar and Hukporti all while saving some money and adding a few future seconds?

Kolek and McCullar can step in right now and be bench pieces. Dadiet supposedly has a ton of potential and may turn into something 2-3 years from now and Hokporti is a lottery ticket.

Add in OG resigning and the Bridges trade and the Knicks had a very good week. Should be the deepest team in the league, with great chemistry, defense, wing play and an alpha scorer. May just be one IHart resigning away from being the favorite.
