Re: BaF Season 4 Discussion thread continued
Real big win last night over an EC playoff team. Now 3 straight games (b2b vs WAS followed by TOR) against my fellow competition for those 7-8 spots...need to keep the positive momentum going.

Big game implications every night for those teams battling for 7/8 in the East...I hope moving for Kemba keeps me out in front of that crazy battle.
We got the new look Raptors tonight, same league MVP in LeBron...very dangerous team. Would love to keep both them and Brooklyn on the outside looking in come playoff time.
Would be a very big win and confidence booster to a team with Championship aspirations heading into the All-Star break.

The sim is the real boss of this stuff...Some of these teams that win in the sim- would never win IRL...Precisely why I implore my own strategy and plan to this game.
Apologies in advance to Ribs and Mase but I dont think you have to worry about Brooklyn Swiss BUT--
I believe the final two spots 28 games from now (It's about that roughly I believe) will be Toronto
and Washington.
But again, we have a third of a season left and teams are at the mercy of a COMPUTER!
As much as some want to believe this is real life- its not...The sim gods will decide who gets rewarded

That assumes your team has the ability to move into the 1 or 2 seed...you think your roster is enough to take you there at this time?
Be careful what you wish for...I know there isn’t a soul who wants to draw LeBron in the 1st Round...don’t matter what your team looks like.

That Washington team is real interesting...definitely has the talent to put themselves there.
I’m just not ready to count out Brooklyn with that roster, even with Mecca not being around to make adjustments.

why dont you play your best players and cheer for your own teaminstead of you know.. playing Tacko and Dort at Point Guard..
because in a game --you play with in the rules!
and in competition --winners dont whine
Im not breaking any rules - just like you werent breaking any rules when you
baited, manipulated entire free agent markets, tanked for years; thats why your free agent rating is the lowest of all teams, even tanked for Morant. So keep talking like you dont live in a glass house and carry on

Bro, if it was just a computer then why would we play? Some of our teams win because of our rotations, how our players fit together, offensive/defensive strategies, trades, etc.
For example- Game 6 BaF finals, I’m playing the Nets and Embiid has been going OFF all series long. Steven Adams impact was diminishing because he’d always get into foul trouble very early in the games. I’m talking like 3 fouls in the first quarter alone. This affected our entire teams success. So what did I do? I made adjustments. Not the SIM. I brought Adams off the bench (for Sabonis) in the final game, started Lou Will who had played more of a 6th man role all season, and eventually won the game. If not for my adjustments we would have likely lost.
I’m just saying even though in many cases the SIM does what it wants, it has proven to respond to input from GMs who actively manage their teams.

for someone that likes to say they speak facts your wrong a lot..
Facts
1. I played my best players
2. did not have the lowest free agent rating of all teams
3. did not tank for morant, actually moved up 7-9 spots in the lottery to get him. Did not tank for JJJ, ended up trading for the 6th pick to grab him, used my own pick on Bamba
SIM power rankings in season 2, was the 11th worst team, and moved up in lottery to get Morant (not sure if i ended up with 10 worst record because Images no longer load)

Im not going to play this game with you...you know who you dealing with? I got xray vision-
dont let that go over your head.
You are no dummy- if you really wanted to you could have had a better team but you didnt want to because it was by design.
So carry on and post my line up all day!
You had Gortat in the line up just off the top of my head when he was out of the league BUT again
You wanna sit here and act like you weren't tampering and committing tortuous interference?
You've been signing players that you can't even give minutes to
You purposely bid the JJ contract...dude - I have a life so I dont have the time to put a power point together
but dont worry - I'll get around to it
I'm done...
