Both guys combined make 20mil total. They aren't scrubs, Harkless deal actual is rather decent and certainly could be moved individually if needed. Besides both are young. I'd take a pic obviously, but for these two, it wouldn't be a deal breaker.

Leonard is pretty much dead money. You would need two first round picks to unload his contract. Plus we would be pretty much tying 30+ million on backup centers. Bad.

Hopefully this makes Cleveland panic because they've done nothing to close the gap with the Warriors, who have added more firepower. Obviously, Cleveland and Houston have very little, if anything, that we want but maybe they can rope in a third of fourth team to give us some picks and young talent

of course they would. HOU aint getting Melo for a Ryan Anderson swap. Usually that is where trades fall apart if teams can't reach draft compensation. We would have to be getting something.

I think the Cavs have to feel some pressure to make a splash and keep Lebron happy. Unless Lebron AND Melo goto L.A. next year. But if Cleveland made the move for Melo, does it help them win a championship this year? It gives them a more dangerous offensive weapon (IMHO) than Love, but it does not really help them stop GS, aside from maybe being able to matchup better to the DEATH lineup.

With all that being said- give us a damn first round pick.

What are your thoughts on if we were to acquire Love, what could we flip him to? Could he net more than a first-round pick?
