I saw that but there’s more context to it.
Plus it was James Jones who started the talk about him playing PF. So I’m not sure what Ayton is supposed to say. “No I’m not gonna play that position”?

That’s what they said about Tyreke Evans after his rookie year too

Can I go on a mini rant here... Can we please stop crowning this Doncic kid the next MVP because NBA Twitter has loved him for years and years? He mostly sucked the 2nd half of the season, I don't see the upside as a defender nor as a scorer on offense. Has limited burst around the rim and there are still questions about how hard he actually works on his body. For someone that's not naturally a good athlete that concerns me. I think he's good and he's obviously a smart and crafty player but undisputed number 1 in that class? Uh uh not from me. Sorry. Prove it over a whole season before we start laughing at the Bagley, Ayton and Trae picks...

I figured but I just see a lot of it and I just think it's a little premature to be crowning Doncic as early as consensus is.

A coke habit might help Luka drop some lbs

I think you absolutely could, it's just a matter of having the right build around him and luck, like with Dirkgod shammgod wrote:Knicksfan1992 wrote:3toheadmelo wrote:That’s what they said about Tyreke Evans after his rookie year too

agreed. i said it many times here that he'll likely never be a top 5 player in the league for a lot of the reasons you listed. in a way there's a similarity to how donovan mitchell came in the league. big balls to take and make big shots so a lot of highlights early but pretty inefficient. both with big physical limitations - mitchell (size) luka (athleticism). i think both are very good but will never be mvp types. i doubt you ever win a championship with either one as your best player.
