Congratulations to NewEra and the Golden State Warriors on a well deserved championship. Some key additions in the offseason, some very gutsy moves in season and then some well planned coaching adjustments during a tough postseason run that saw them beat an upstart Clippers team, one of, if not the best duos in the league in Portland, the defending champion Dallas Mavericks (who won their first nine postseason games btw) and the two time Eastern Conference champion, Brooklyn Nets. An exciting postseason capped off in a BaF Championship game seven victory.

Congrats also to Mecca and the Brooklyn Nets. Two straight BaF Finals appearance is impressive. They are now one of only two franchises in the league to accomplish back to back appearances. I know only to well that the nature and a lot of the fun of BaF is the offseason moves and reimagining a lineup through trades, the draft and free agency but this core would be a tough out for years to come, especially with the right additions.

Finally congrats to the other 28 teams...three years down and the commitment level seems to be growing which is awesome and hopefully makes the game more fun for all!

It's now time for our extra long extended offseason which will test that commitment.

We'll start out with our league awards. Also, over the course of the next week or two I will begin setting up our BaF Season 4 page. Teams can prepare to have the league reopen for business sometime in the first week of July. At that time all trades will be processed. The draft will remain the week before the actual NBA draft (October) and free agency will be directly after that with out 2020-21 season likely to start in early January.

I will be posting the first FA ranking tomorrow also and will post a more specific schedule for our offseason as far as EL contracts and player options dates in the next few days.

Also, I wanted to announce the suspension of Context is officially over. He is back eligible to talk in the discussion thread once again and will take over all active duties for the Detroit Pistons once more.

Good luck to all teams throughout this long offseason!

I remember Bish mentioning it as a new addition, so it does exist

If you look at all the Finals games you will see more than one tech handed out. I think Atkinson got two, Kerr got one and I think even Oladipo got one in the Finals.

And there were no PED suspensions all year. No season ending injuries or injuries that will carry into next season either. I actually think that we may have found the correct injury rate moving forward.
