Regardless, these days are trump rules, they shouldve been vague as **** in their repudiations.

Not really. They want Muslim votes, and they picked the right person for that. Then threw her under the bus after some backlash (which was mostly pro-Trumpers trying to paint certain dems as anti-semite). Instead of holding your ground, DNC fell right into that trap.

It could have been a good moment for unity that they always talked about.

The problem with painting yourself as a good guy is that you must always do so. She has more than enough dirt where it's noticeable and can be used against her. Trump doesnt do this so he can shake off any media criticism easily. Dems need to learn that good guy label means jack **** and until then, avoid avoidable situations like this.

This is kind of my issue here... I don't know what the direction of this "movement" is. It's all over the place. It seems like the Biden Campaign is trying recruit all kinds of people with different views. Which is fine if you think the only thing that matters is beating Trump. But then they just shun certain people when they are trying some kind of "unity" movement.

Yeah, it kinda has. Obama ripped Trump. It still won't work.

He ripped trump and his ability to lead, didn't attack Trump or his followers on a personal level. It's wishful thinking on your part that this wont work, but I believe it will.

Don't you think that people have already made up their minds about Trump, one way or the other, a long time ago?

Oh, he's going to jail. I feel pretty confident about that.

yeah I seriously doubt that. very few billionaires are ever held accountable for crimes and certainly no former presidents

Probably. Best the DNC can do is make sure non-voters vote.

If it's just down to Biden-Trump, I'm confident that 99.5% of those people have made their choice. But there's going to be a decent amount of people who stay home and don't want to stay in line too long.

It would have been nice if the DNC took voter suppression more seriously before the 2016 election. Now we are playing catch up

OMG, that fcking hypocrite. What about the "We Endorse Incumbents" rule? She's such a piece of shyt.

Well it’s a Senate race and Joe Kennedy is a congressman so I wonder if that’s the connection. She endorsed all the incumbents that had a Primary challenger in Congress if I’m not mistaken.

No I don't. I think alot of people were goaded into voting for trump by last cycle due to the "vote for me or else that makes you a racist **** implications." By flipping the narrative from it being about Trump being an **** to Trump having an inability to lead, I believe that there are some votes to be gained there.

It’s a statistical tie right now in battleground states 3 months away from the general, you guys will never learn.

Oh yeah aren’t you the guy who swore up and down trump was going to be impeached out of office after the phony Russia gate garbage? How’d that work out for you?

This is wrong.

Biden's lead is outside the MOE in Michigan, PA, WI and FLA at the moment.

Yeah it’s like transportation to go somewhere where you have to take a train, a taxi and walk some of the way. I may not like walking for some of the journey but I’ll get there. However not voting, voting Republican or voting third party is like taking a high speed bullet train in the opposite direction. It’s baffling.

No it’s not. Not voting is not voting. If neither candidate represents me and values neither of them deserve my vote. Say what you want about Trump but he went out there and earned those votes he got by speaking directly to people’s concerns. You think you’re going to win an election because your VP is 25% black? And your head of the ticket is half brain dead? You better think again.

It’s really not. Trump has gained momentum on Biden in the last month. Nobody who is voting Biden is voting FOR Biden, they are voting against Trump. Hilary banked on that in 2016 and look where it got her. Once the campaign heats up and the ads start rolling out along with the debates you guys are in for a rude awakening.

50 percent actually.
And you can forgive the dems for thinking such a thing when the conservatives won with a 100% white religious vp and a full brain dead product at the top of theirs.

Where did you see that there's a rift between the Biden campaign and Muslim voters? I believe Sarsour is an antisemitic, anti-LGBTQ+ radical who does not represent the vast majority of Muslims. BTW, the last democratic, Obama, actually assassinated a very prominent Muslim - bin Laden.

There's plenty more examples but here's a few:

Not sure where you are trying to get at with the last sentence.

Obama killed a prominent infamous Muslim but was nevertheless a strong supporter of treating Muslims, and Muslim Americans, properly and with respect.

I don't believe Biden's criticism of Sarsour was either unwarranted or very harsh.

Are the gaps in the polls not closing in?

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/

It was my initial worry. I felt Biden got hot too fast and Trump was down by a lot. Trump can now play victim and build momentum as he usually does.

This is to be expected with the Biden campaign relying on people to vote against someone and not for something.

On the aggregate, Biden's lead has been stable nationally, and has grown ever so slightly in key states.

Overall, things are more or less the same as they were in June.
