Boston could be a lowkey Russ spot.... Remember the rumor they were open to moving Kemba... Maybe Houston takes back Kemba. Boston takes on Russ and Randle. Knicks get Hayward. Would make sense for all parties involved.

3) He is UFA next season.

4) It can be a salary dump. We could get a pick or at least dump Randle in the deal.

5) We may have to spend a good part of cap space on his contract. It could not leave enough cap to take WB or CP3!

He has a player option with Boston?

Kemba WAS a little gun shy in the bubble. This will certainly work.

On paper, I honestly love the Kemba/Harden fit.

Don't like it for Boston but... I would allow it.

I get the MAGA part... he was actually starting to play well last season tho. There’s so many quality wings in Boston that he isn’t the focal point there but I think on a team starved for good wings like the Knicks he could put up numbers closer to his Jazz days

His hair makes me physically uncomfortable for that reason.

As a player/contract I think it makes the most sense of any of the things discussed. He low key had a really good season. But I'm having a hard time with the hair.

Watching Westbrook single handedly destroy everything Boston has built would be pleasing :D

Would be a horrific move for them. They need some size up front. Westbrook doesn't solve their issue but man the chaos he would cause to their chemistry would be something to watch

Unfortunately I don't see the Cs doing that

He has a player option with Boston?

He has to make a decision before FA starts.. he can actually make a decision today.. Boston just needs to reach out to his agent. Trade can be done.. the same goes for the knicks and all their team option... I believe the deadline is the day right after the draft

I'm thinking from Boston's perspective they maybe realize they are over the cap for the foreseeable future with or without Russ because Tatum's extension is coming and the writing is on the wall with Hayward... Kemba's deal isn't all that better than Russ's tbh and they might view Russ as the piece that can finally put them over the top in the open East. There's no doubt he's a better talent than Kemba and they have the kind of infrastructure that can support bringing Russ in. Losing Hayward for nothing or future pieces doesn't help them..

I can see them taking Haliburton and signing a vet point guard. Looks like Westbrook could be the guy, it makes sense as a backcourt.

Outside of Westbrook all of them seem to be using the Knicks for leverage.

It’s a **** joke.

In Westbrook case its Houston. First comes word that the clippers are interested then comes word that the knicks are desperate.

A trade or absorbing him in too cap space...not a signing... Hayward can option in anytime before the deadline.. which I believe is the day after the draft... plus like Conley, he's not leaving 34.5 Million on the table

I recommend it be a trade where we send out players like Portis, Ellington etc... then we can renounce the rest of our players to create about 20 million in cap space to use. We would loose the MLE though...

But he got hurt again and now he looks awful. In the playoffs he averaged just 10 points per game. Meh. I’ll pass

That would be a huge waste of money to sign a development coach if all were going to do is star ****.

The hair is already a no from me lol. In the season he looked good but he got hurt again and looked horrible in the playoffs. What if this is how he’s gonna be from now on. Doesn’t seem worth it imo

I'd take Hayward and #26 easy. I don't think they give up #14
