The math is different but the concept is the same. Did the math last year really hurt us? No. Which is why we are in this exact position. I would lose all faith in this regime if we bring him back.

Obi? I want him teaching his moves and how he prepares for games to RJ. RJ is a natural 3 which is where Melo played most of his career.

they weren't but payton, portis, randle, taj, morris were all playing premium roles on the team

ed davis might be cut (he is a backup)
burks is a backup.

they really haven't signed a starter yet or a high usage guy. Also a lot of the teams worse then them are getting better

GSW, Minny, ATL...so if we are the same we now have easily a top 3 worst record.
