Given the tight races i see teams still waiting it out til closer to the deadline before any really significant moves are made. A lot of the teams that would consider selling off assets also do not have their own draft picks this year which complicates things with a very strong draft class upcoming...

Definitely very, very possible. However, the main purpose behind his acquisition was to compete this year and start rebuilding my team's pitiful free agent ranking. I made a major pivot after this year's free agency when I saw first hand that my free agent dollars with my free agent ranking compared to a top tier ranked team were worth about 33 cents on the dollar. This was a real eye opener.

Right now, he stands me a future, probable late 1st, 3 seconds, and a large 2.5 star expiring, so if he becomes a large 2.5 star expiring but helps me get to a point where my free agent dollars are worth 60 cents on the dollar compared to the big boys, I'll consider that a win.

Don't mind me. I'm just bitter

And it looks like he's actually playing pretty well for the Kings so Whiteside could **** me twice (Holmes).

Yeah, we'll see. Over the first few games though, he's not getting 17mpg with Holmes starting and Bagley being utilized as both a 4 and 5. Still his counting stats per minute are fine. I predict that at his historical level of box score/advanced stat production, he needs about 15 mpg to earn a 2.5 star rating, about 18-20mpg to get a 3 and 22-24mpg to get a 3.5. With injuries and the possibility of being used in a trade if he remains the third C option, I think these are all in the realm of possibility with 2.5 star being the current most likely.

He needs to get about 30mpg at his normal production to remain at 4.5 star. I don't see anyway the minutes are going to be there for that.

4.5 would be a tough keep but 3-4 could easily happen.
