I had never felt this sick. I was completely knocked out. Mind was hazy for a solid 10 days. Couldn't focus on anything really for about a week. Water and healthy food can never hurt, but unfortunately I can't give you advice besides wishing you a speedy recovery.

PS: That was last winter.

My mind was hazy for 10 days and I thought it might be covid and then I realized it was just various recreational choices.

All the GM's should just never do business with Ainge. I understand it's his job to get the most he can but he clearly negotiates in bad faith imo. Shame on Minnesota for getting 'Brooklyn Netsed' in the Gobert deal!

I think Rudy was and is a stud and will take Wolves to top 4 in the west next year. If they all stay healthy. I highly doubt Jazz will be able to draft a 3 time DPOY with any of those draft picks we got back. Next year I'll be cheering for wolves finish with worse record in the league or win a championship. Think Jazz will be looking at play in next year if we just retool around Mitchell and I think Danny is set on a huge tank and if it's not NY knicks he'll find someone else to pull of the tank next year? Question is, Will your GM draft a player as good or better with one of those 20 range picks? And land a player who'll want to stay there? Maybe.

I asked the question because I wasn't sure. That's why question marks exist.

I do remember you moaning and complaining about the "lack of patience" for Knox. Same as you did for Frank. So don't tell me you weren't wrong about Knox. In the end, those who called him a bust early were right. You were not.

"Frank
Dotson
Knox
Zion
KP

Rejoice!"

Jesus Christ

I changed my mind about RJ. I liked him as a prospect, but admitted I was wrong and changed my mind once I accepted the overwhelming statistical evidence that he sucks.

Randle had a bad year, a good year, and a horrible year. My assessment of his game reflects that. Still, I wanted him traded after the 2020-21 season, because he was not as impactful as his numbers and his perception suggested. I didn't think he was worthy of All-NBA. But still he played well, and as a fan I enjoyed that. Sue me.

See, I can admit I'm wrong. I do change my mind, that doesn't make me a "prisoner of the moment". Only fools never change their mind. You never admit you were wrong, despite time and time again seeing your takes turn into absolute sheet, since nothing you predict actually materializes, outside of a thing here and there. Instead, you just deflect blame, and vaguely bring up "context" as a way to explain why things didn't happen as you predicted, instead of being a grown-up and admitting you were wrong.

Chanel Bomber wrote:This has been my opinion since before the draft.

I see RJ making incremental improvements and steadily trending upwards year after year, while Ja slowly but surely trends downwards as time goes by, or just stalls.

I just think RJ is more substance than flash than Ja is, if we viewed it as a spectrum. Some of it is about physical attributes, some of it is about mental make-up. I just trust RJ's approach to the game more than I do Ja's.

RJ is quieter, very composed and very serious about the game. I'm not implying that Ja has a negative personality, or that he isn't committed to the game of basketball, but he's more of a loudmouth and we saw him at Murray State not even bothering on the defensive end because of the load he had to carry offensively, which was perhaps self-inflicted to some degree. I guess I just prefer RJ's character traits. The hopes regarding his potential as a draft prospect rested a lot on his intangibles, to be fair.

I also think with his defense and shooting percentages, it's hard to see how Ja can contribute if he's not your featured guy, whereas RJ can be more versatile in terms of roles.

Sure buddy. Sure buddy.

Exactly my point.

I was wrong, I admitted I was wrong, and changed my opinion.

Only fools don't change their mind.

Those like you who don't even comprehend the concept, belong to an entirely different category.

You don't learn from your mistakes, because you're too narcissistic to see them or to admit that you were wrong, and that's why all these years later you think the same way, you still write like a teenager, and your takes are still trash.

You need to understand the value of those "1st round picks", though. Since most those picks are from teams other than the Knicks, many are highly protected (some could end up being 2nd round picks due to those protections), others are picks likely in the 20's. It's not like they are a bunch of lottery picks. Trading DM for 6 picks, if they end up being something like; 1 lottery, three later 1st rounders and two 2nd rounders, isn't very good. They need to get Knick unprotected picks & pick swaps, to make the deal worth while, IMO.

The non-Knick picks really aren't as sexy as people want to think they are:

Mavericks first round pick (protected top 10 in 2023-25, else 2025 second round pick)
-- so this one is likely going to be a mid-20's 1st rounder

Nuggets first round pick (protected top 14 in 2023-25, else 2025 second round pick, 2026 second round pick)
-- so this one should be a 1st round pick in the later half of the order, or if the Nugs don't perform well, will be a 2nd rounder

Pistons first round pick (protected top 16 in 2021-22, top 18 in 2023-24, top 13 in 2025, top 11 in 2026, top 9 in 2027, else 2027 second round pick)
-- so this one very-well could end up being a 2nd round pick

Wizards first round pick (protected top 14 in 2023, top 12 in 2024, top 10 in 2025, top 8 in 2026, else 2026 second round pick, 2027 second round pick)
-- so this one looks similar to Pistons, where unless the team gets out of the lottery in the next couple years, it'll be a 2nd round pick (top 8 protected in 2026 could be the best case scenario, if they are in the 9-13 range) One of our Jazz fans posted this and it really shows the real value of some of those picks being talked about. Not really sure this give me hope building with the draft picks only. I can see why Danny is also pushing for couple young players to help rebuild.

Miami has a better team obviously. Miami with Donovan has the chance to make the Finals. With the Knicks he has no shot.
