Geez...I need to get a job in baseball, if the only requirement is to sign all of Cashman's trash.

Yea, Mets fans need to stop blaming their team and start pointing fingers at the decision-makers.

This whole year, I made the joke every time Devin Williams choked (and he choked A LOT), that I couldn't wait to see him in a Mets uniform

Gray basically said he never wanted to be a Yankee when earlier tape showed he always dreamt to be one. Williams basically trolling Yankee fans saying y'all mad now? (basically since he is a Met now).

Dodgers get more players for cheap...that's the one thing stupid Hal never figured out. When you're a winner, guys will play for you for cheap. You'll get dudes like Ohtani and they'll attract dudes like Roki. Your franchise value escalates and random villagers in China will wear a Yankees hat, just cause it looks cool and signifies victory.

We used to be that team...guys like Bryce Harper and even that cheater Beltran wanted to play for us desperately. Those days are gone.

The Alonso deal reminds me of the Albert Belle signing from many years ago! Will Baltimore move the left field stands back in for him?

And what happened to Cohen's unlimited budget? Doesn't he supposedly earn 5 times more than the average MLB owner? Why is he letting his stars walk away while signing Yankee castoffs?

Wow there are reports Devin Williams really didn’t want to be in New York (he wanted Chicago) but the Mets offered the most.

That's what he gets for trying to be too smart and too cheap. Should have just spent on the sure thing (Verlander). But nope.

At some point Mets fans will be backed into the only defense left for Cohen: "At least he's better than the Wilpons".

The Jay may have quietly picked up a gem for their rotation when they signed reining KBO MVP Cody Ponce to a 3 year $36 million contract. Ponce was amazing this past season and seems to have finally gotten everything to click. Was hoping the Yankees would have signed him but Cashman still trying to figure out why he gave that QO to Grisham apparently.

Blue Jays and Orioles feel a lot hungrier than the Yankees so far. Not surprising...they probably smell the weakness in Hal.

Jays especially...there's such a difference between their World Series run and our World Series run, and a difference between how the teams approached the offseason afterwards

Yeah that's exactly what I'm feeling as well. Not feeling good right now. Not good at all.

There's a rumor of a trade brewing between the Yanks and the Tigers for Skubal.

Chatter is it's Jazz, Elmer Rodriguez-Cruz, Spencer Jones and Luis Gil to Detroit for Skubal (likely a one year rental cause...let's be honest).

MAYBE this is followed up with them going after Bichette with the plans to plug him at SS with the eventual plan to move him to 2B? Tigers are trying to compete so this trade does make a lot of sense as all 4 guys are major league ready. That's what the Tigers likely would be looking for in return.

Bellinger talks apparently at a standstill with Yankees not willing to go past 5 years and Boras asking for 7 years. My guess is that the offer is a nudge higher than what Schwarber got from the Phillies. 5 years $165 million.

Skubal, Bichette, Bellinger at the cost of Jazz and Gil would definitely be an upgrade (and I'm a Jazz fan). Then if maybe they can flip, Dominguez, Volpe and Warren for Oneil Cruz? Cruz ranks at the top of the league at the metrics that the Yankees love (bat speed, exit velocity, hard hit, etc.). He's got the strongest arm of any OF'er in baseball, saw his defense in center improve significantly. Maybe they can figure out how to unlock his issues with consistent contact.
