Guys, I think RJ is going to be so bad this year. He really can't shoot at all.

I would’ve threw my phone at my TV if that happened.

I think he’s going to really struggle the first 35-40 games, and then get hot the last 25-30 when he realizes he has to change the way he plays.

To me Ja looks good and RJ will have that battle to make himself the 2nd or the best player in the Draft.

That said Ja had a good debut against MCH whoever the hell that is and I don’t care.

Ja is nice, but the Knicks don’t need a point guard

Ja looked good against scrubs, can we see him in a real game first?

If Trier is actually 6'5" without shoes he might be our best back court prospect.....

Grizz been needing a wing threat for years and keep screwing it up
98 Bibby over Vince Carter or Paul Pierce
08 Thabeet over Harden

Rj may very well be the best or 2nd best player of the draft. I do like Ja tho

Maybe RJ's season will resemble the summer league, in that he looked bad for the first two games, then looked a lot better the next few. Maybe he'll look so-so first two preseason games, look better in the last two. Struggle for the first 5-10 games, then look better after he adjusts.

Correct. I am wrong in this.

According to the NBA, this is not a travel. So yes, it is a legal move.

But according to the rules we've agreed to follow, in youth, high school, international, and college basketball, this is easily a travel. So yes, a basic, simple, basketball 101 travel here.

But the NBA is okay with this move, despite it being an obvious travel. So I am wrong. It's a travel, obviously, but it's allowed in the NBA (but nowhere else) today.

But you know what? that sh*t is starting to trickle down, my son plays AAU ball and he does that crap and they’ve started to let him get away with it...

The other parents all get pissed off and complain, I’m just sitting there chuckling, I don’t like it either tbh, cause I’m just as old school... but this might be the new normal

Personally I'd prefer the extra separation dribble be ruled necessary especially since it can be realized fairly easily and that's what sets good and great athletes apart, but that's not what the league wants. They obviously want Harden to win a championship.

Gotta admit as a fan of his that its concerning. But if Brook Looez can now shoot then anybody can learn to shoot. But you're right, hes gonna have some growing pains until he figures that out. Doesnt change my view of his longterm potential though
